I spent 3 weeks evaluating 16 different productivity tools and Amplenote fit my needs the best so far. Genius idea to have task management built into the note taking process as that is often when I’m coming up with new tasks to do. Love it!
Perfectly matches my workflow! 🧡
I tried every popular productivity app recently… they all lacked the certain functions I needed to work at my most efficient. You usually either get a notes app OR a todo & calendar app, but Ample gives you the best of both. Best features are: Any tasks in your notes get captured and organized for you to place on your calendar. And easily accessible collapsible nodes in notes by h1/h2/h3, a perfect way to nest information in your notes without having a super lengthy, cluttered note. Overall a perfect workflow app for me and I will be upgrading to founder plan to support the creators :)
Changed my life
I was overwhelmed with too many projects (career, non-profit, family, home repair, etc.), and I just couldn’t keep track of it all. My todo lists had too many tasks, some from over a year ago, and for every task I had to find where I put the info/notes when it was time to work on one. Numerous apps solve the issues of mixing notes and tasks, but they were either too hard to use or only good at either tasks or notes. Amplenote is the sweet spot for me, built for thinking through hard projects and helping me figure out what I need to work on. There is a learning curve, and it really helps to try to fit into the workflow the developers prefer, but I can’t imagine not having it. It’s made me massively more productive at home and work.
Great app for managing tasks
Took me a while to get used to, but I’m very happy with this app. I was coming from a Mish mash of Google tasks, Evernote, and paper. I gave this a try and after a steep learning curve, I’m very happy with it. My favorite future is the daily jot, which seems really simple and intuitive, but I haven’t run into any other apps that have this opportunity to clear your mind every morning. Very happy with Amplenote.
Absolutely amazing
I have been trying to find an affordable and sustainable note taking app for years. This app allows me to take notes for my meetings, delegate my tasks around my day. It also allows you to separate your work calendar and personal calendar.
All in one app
The app is truly an all in one platform, I have installed it and been using it ever since. It literally replaced my calendar and notes app because of how well designed it is. Also they have an awesome support team and community. Thank you so much for developing this amazing app!
Awkward for pencil users
Gave this a try but it’s not very intuitive for people who rely a lot on using the pencil and iPad. Seems pretty robust but the lack of features for using the Apple Pencil is a deal breaker. Bummer
Runs my life
The Idea Execution Funnel is the OS for my life. Love the way this app gracefully marries notes, tasks, and calendar.
Formatting bar on iPad mini keeps glitching
The formatting bar on the iPad mini keeps glitching and disappears. It comes back if I auto rotate the iPad into vertical and landscape. really annoying to do when I’m actually in Full note taking mode. Devs, please fix this
Efficient, clean, and robust
Having started with Notion five years ago, then Craft Docs two years ago, I can say that Amplenote is doing what other devs have lost sight off: keeping the feature list paired down to what adds the most value to a daily user’s life. I haven’t been using it long, but I absolutely love it and would recommend any give it a try!
