Absolutely fantastic for language learning!
AnkiPro has become my go-to app for memorizing new vocabulary and grammar in French. I love the spaced repetition system - it ensures information sticks in my long-term memory. The app offers a massive library of pre-made decks, but creating my own flashcards is easy and keeps me engaged. Highly recommend!
Not supported on MacBook Air
Randomly no longer supported on my MacBook Air. The whole reason I got this over others was the ease of use between iPhone and laptop.
Excelente
Muy buena aplicación para aprender!
Doesn’t work w/o the internet
Some of the best places to teaching and learning something are subway, trains and planes. And the app isn’t working without an internet connection.
Who are you, a streaming service?
Useless subscription
If your gonna make an app that you don’t add content to, at least make it fricking free for people to use. Donations or something. Anything but a 5 dollar subscription. It literally doesn’t cost you anything to let your users use more than 50 cards a day.
The only upkeep you have is server support and tech updates. You don’t need 5 dollars a month for that from 30k people.
Maybe a onetime payment of 5 dollars for extra things like access to professionally made flash cards. you could also work a little harder marketing to more people if you really wanted more money.
Or people could post stuff on the app for free and ask for money for their work and you could take a little from each purchase.
This is just another lazy investor owned application that has nothing to do with learning and everything to do with making money.
I’m not even joking they didn’t even add a system of sorting difficult cards from not difficult ones. It’s just random cards after random cards. It’s not a smart system at all.
Also, 80 is insane for anything. Especially a flash card application that could be made with gpt and a single dev in 3 months
It’s like everything in the world costs a subscription and it takes away from good applications (like you can’t close yt music) . I don’t expect companies to forget about compensation but they could at least make it not a subscription based system. Or have popups ever 3 seconds asking wether you changed your mind about emptying your wallet for them.
Ads are just as bad. There is good integration of ads and bad integration. Yt is a better version of ads compared to every website other non e-commerce website where there is 65% ads and 10% content and 35% whitespace
When making an application you want to convince those who can pay more to do so but also give the people who can’t the operant to still enjoy your application.
Do something crazy where the minimum donation limit is 500 dollars. So the people who care about your app actually pay for a better app. Let the donators decide what is in the next update. You will get your money and have an app everyone uses and recommends immediately instead of casually mentions when asking about the fastest way to learn a language.
Don’t be the app that has their free users lick the floor and their minimum payers lick a crumb filled floor.
If you get this app, pay for it. If you aren’t going to do that, stop wasting your time finding free flash cards to study from and use real ones, those d
Disappointed
Used to be able to use it on my laptop and now after the update, it no longer is compatible with the MacBook which I find stupid. Completely waste of money, let me see what the App Store rule violates as I have paid for this and they should be able to maintain the version I paid for to say the least. Stupid that it doesn’t have add ons either
The best
The best application for learning and education with the best support team
Cannot be used offline
Also fails to parse many decks the real Anki app can parse
Doesn't work offline
You need wifi or data for the app to work. So no studying during a subway commute or flight.
Great app
It’s the great app the only thing I wish that It had was a search bar to search to see if we already have one of the words anywhere in our flashcards
