Perfect for anyone memorizing facts - history dates, chemistry equations, you name it. Spaced repetition keeps them fresh in my mind fore ages.
The original Anki app is AnkiMobile. The creator of Anki asked this dev to not use the same name as Anki (which is open source), especially since this app is the exact same flash card app. Apple need to take this down till Dev renames app and stop deceiving users.
Med student here… this is NOT the real Anki app. It took their product and name. AnkiMobile is the real app.
Normally if this was solely my fault I wouldn’t rate as low. The fact that I spent over 24 hours making an anki deck and half of my cards are reversed is ridiculous. Why is there not a simple way to fix this? Or a select option where you select a bunch of cards and re-reverse them so you don’t have to worry about it. Literally this one simple feature is why I have been using Quizlet over this. Absolutely ridiculous. So simple yet so incredibly infuriating.
As a busy medical student, AnkiPro has been a lifesaver. The sheer volume of information I needed to retain was overwhelming, but this app’s spaced repetition helped me effectively memorise complex medical terms and concepts. Creating flashcards with images and diagrams was particularly useful. Big thanks to the developers!
why does everything need a subscription now and days. It’s so annoying and after you make all the flash cards and study for them, you have a limit then a time limit. You also have to painfully go through each card to reverse them in order to study the opposite sides of the cards
Will wait until you have enough cards then give you daily limits and charge you to use unlimited premium version. The worst part is you can’t export your cards, so yea just be sure to use an excel sheet and don’t rely on this app. Use Anki web
I can’t study these when I’m on a plane, which is when I have a lot of time and availability
This is really sad, especially after reading the app author actually talked with the creator of the REAL Anki app and then went ahead and stole everything. The app literally took the exact appearances and functions. It’s nowhere near as good and it’s basically just a poor superficial copy moneygrab. To the author, I’m sad to see you resort to stealing others work for your own gain. If you wanna make your own app, make it different (and better) and name it your own thing.
