Tower of God: NEW WORLD

It’s a great time killer. What I like is they animated ToG in the story mode they took a few liberties but it’s pretty canon. There isn’t a pay wall I’ve come across yet ranked in the top 100 for arena and events. My only complaint is yes I would like to throw some money at the game just to reward the devs but the actual pay store is expensive and ridiculously pricey for what is offered. I can’t justify spending $30 on a few small items that don’t advance progress at all or even close to enough.

I have played the game since it first came out. It is a great game to play. Like every netmarble game. There is but one glitch. Once you maxed a SSR character, you should not get it when you use a 10 draw. But i get them way too often. These draws are hard earned through the game. Apart from that, i love everything about that game. Except that the new chapters do not come often enough. I guess we will not get much until the second season of the show hits the air… I am a bit baffled by the ptw commentaries. I rarely buy anything in the game, but got even a couple of SSR+ Characters maxed out. It is very possible to progress through the story without paying a cent. And have decent teams. Sure, i have not reached stage 70. But, i am one step asay from clearing level 31-50. Wich puts me in the top 300 players in the game.

Used to be a good game that felt accessible without spending money. Now with the new updates they added ads and an adfree pass subscription and the game has become extremely slow running. All the menu buttons take forever to load and playing the game has become a chore. I’m sad to see they fell this far for greed.

It’s a totally optional event game, but it was implemented so poorly. The “clue” given is to just listen to the doors, but that makes absolutely no sense. There are no discernible differences in sounds, and there is no rhyme or reason to the text “whispers” in the game. The animation to slide between doors is so cumbersome. It’d be better to just choose one of the 6 doors, rather than slide to each door. The animation to either continue after choosing the right door or restarting the game if choosing the wrong door is quick. But if you want to quit after winning something semi valuable, the animation to load the screen takes a while. I could just skip this, but then I feel I’ve missed out on free items that will put me a bit behind. This is a very poorly implemented mini game that I hope never resurfaces in any future updates. But maybe I’ll just quit, there are better games to waste my time on.

It’s now become so pay to win that even draws don’t seem to be as fulfilling as if they’ve toned down what you can get without paying. I’ve got two accounts one that spends money and one that doesent and if you don’t spend money it becomes a bore. It’s become very much like KH unchained the mobile game if you’re a fan of that series as well.

I usually hate games like this but this game has such unique graphics makes it pleasing to the eye

Very pay to win if you want to participate in pvp content

This game version of my favourite WEBTOON is super worth playing! Each character’s design is unique, and if I may say so, you did an excellent job in choosing voice actors—especially that Brandon guy for Khun. Their unique special moves are also really cool, and I love to check out my new SSRs’ special moves (I absolutely ADORE Hansung’s little bit before the update because that part shows precisely what I wanna do all the time, hahahaha) the gacha results are always satisfactory and overall (this is getting too long) Tower of God: New World is a game to be put on your MUST-PLAY list. Five stars isn’t enough for this game so really, it’s 500,000,000,000/5! I can really see the effort Netmarble put into this and I must say, great job. —possibly the only person alive who has a crush on Hansung Yu and a very loyal ToG fan, Emma

Please consider making the game support landscape mode… I’ve tricked it into landscape once or twice on my iPad and it worked amazingly, please just make it available by default.
