DS finder

I used this app to wake my Synology NAS via the WOL feature but since today’s update that feature seems to have disappeared. I now have no more use for DS Finder. Can Synology please bring Wake-on-LAN back?

When I try to login to my NAS, the app just crashes…

Only 2 options: add existing device or install new device. Yeah, like I would do that from an iPhone instead of computer. But ok, the remote monitoring is interesting, hence 1 star.

It’s useless now

The latest update appears to have added a button to quickly wake a server on the network, without having to wait for 2 minutes for the network scan to finish. That's the only reason I'm using this app!

Since the last version so since 26/03/19 I can’t reach my server ! I have each time a error notification and this with quickconnect or the ip address from my nas

I’ve got the same issue with WOL since a couple of months. The WOL instruction can’t be sent, because the app doesn’t detect the device is down and tries to login.

Great app, but wake on lan (the single reason I actually installed it) has no straight-forward option. When selecting your device, mostly the app tries to connect to it, if you’re lucky then the wake-on-lan option will pop up. But this is no consistent behaviour. I know when my NAS is off, and whenI need to send a wake-on-lan. Please make this a simple to use option and remove the attempt to auto-detect or something, whatever it is that the app tries to do... sometimes it will keep trying like it hits a timeout or something. Just give me a simple and direct option: “send wake-on-lan”, no matter what state the device is in. The inconsistency and lack of this direct option is frustrating! It makes this app fall in the category of “sometimes works... if you’re lucky”. Which is not something users want from an app.
