Never connects to wifi
“Oops! Something broke” is the only message I’ve ever received. The app never connects no matter what wifi channel I try. Considering how ungodly expensive this machine is, one would expect the app to work. Ridiculous.

I’m so sad to write this review, but the wi-fi version of this product is a rip-off and the company knows it. They need to stop selling it, fix the app, or honestly acknowledge the limitations of this feature. I thought I’d gotten a good one and everything worked great… until I needed to replace a filter. Now that I’ve added the new filter, the app should 1) let me reset the filter life within the app (not have to press a button on the back of machine) and 2) restart the filters use count down in the app. It does neither. I called support for help and that did absolutely nothing. Now I am just getting constant notifications that I need to change the filter which I’ve done. I also reset the filter by pressing the button on the back of the machine. Yet, this has not been communicated to the app. Support said it should reset at some unknown point in the future and if it doesn’t I can send it in for a replacement which uses more of my time and energy and is wasteful. I’m pretty irritated and disappointed by this and plan to follow up with the company.
Title. Just a joke of an app. I have to go through my purchase history and find when I bought it so I can guesstimate when to swap filters. I don’t know how many gallons I’ve generated in the past couple months. Fix the app
I should have read the reviews for the app and not the just the Wi-Fi unit on the website. This app is absolute garbage like everyone else says. I couldn’t even create an account. It’s a great filter though! But save yourself the money on the Wi-Fi connect.
The app has been glitchy and not connecting for MONTHS. I’ve called customer service countless of times and they keep saying it’ll be updated in a few weeks. Then I call back and hear the same story. Won’t connect and my filters have all gone bad. Would give zero stars if I could!! Do better AquaTru! Switching to Berkey!!
I would like the company to contact me and refund me the difference between this unit in the one without Wi-Fi. I cannot even get it to connect in a perfect environment. It’s a complete piece of garbage. Either someone contact me regarding this review or I’m returning the entire unit to Amazon where I bought it. You guys need to hire new developers.
The wifi seems to be a universal issue. It’s also not working for me. If it works for hardly anyone then change it before you get even more 1-star reviews
If it worked, in theory, it would have great features…But it doesn’t work. Lots of bugs but that’s if you can even get it to connect and stay connected, but you can’t, so the whole thing is irrelevant. Save your $ and don’t get the Connect model. Not worth it.
App does not allow for resetting filter life. Have tried reconnecting to wifi, reinstalling filter, you name it. No idea how I’m supposed to accurately measure when to change filters after putting a new one in now. Someone really needs to get this fixed
This app was bad before but at least it worked sometimes, now I can’t even log in. Why did i pay extra to have the wifi version of my purifier if the app never works ?
