AroundMe allows you to quickly find out information about your surroundings.
How many times have you found yourself in need of finding the closest Petrol Station?
AroundMe quickly identifies your position and allows you to choose the nearest Bank, Bar, Petrol Station, Hospital, Hotel, Movie Theatre, Restaurant, Supermarket, Theatre and Taxi.
AroundMe shows you a complete list of all the businesses in the category you have tapped on along with the distance from where you are.
For every listing you can choose to see its location on a Map, view the route from where you are, add the information to your contact list or even email the information to a friend.
The Nearby listing allows you to find information using Wikipedia about what is around you.

NB: When AroundMe Weather push feature is active the app make a continue use of GPS running in the background that can dramatically decrease battery life.

I’m tired of asking why I don’t get show times anymore. I just got an iPhone 16 from a 13 and AroundMe hasn’t changed. Please help me, Joe
Update to delete old information?
Ive been using this app for years and years. I still use this app but it has a lot of restaurants that are no longer in operation. Pretty please fix it? ☺️
Outdated needs an update.
Needs to be updated, some restaurants listed are closed so not useful unless this app is updated.
No longer useful
This use to be a great app. Now it’s not been updated in years the information is so outdated it makes it virtually almost useless. Developers of this app. Please update the information to make it the useful app it once was.

This was a great app and still has potential, but the places (restaurants etc.) need up dated. Some place should be in the app and others are long gone!

The data is way outdated with good number places closed and no longer exist.

Outdated, Missing, and Erroneous
I’ve had this app for years. It has become almost useless. At least 50% of the listings in my area are closed stores, some torn down years ago. This app has become quite vexing.
No Shopping Category?
Just wondering why you don’t have a Shopping category on your app? It would make sense, no?
