Artsy — Buy and Sell Fine Art

No dark mode on the app but the website?? 👎👎

I’ve been using Artsy for sometime now. I can say that when I first made a purchase the delivery was well coordinated with the auction house. Payment method was quickly accepted and I received my art piece in a well insulated and protected shipment. I’m definitely going to be using Arty to considerably grow my collection.

I am so excited to get my artwork out in the public This will be a fresh start for me.

If you’re looking for artists who sniff their own farts or glue to get high; you’ve found the application. It takes forever to find something that is just decent in terms of fine art. Everything is overpriced. You can buy better art off of a comission on Fiverr. Better off doing something else with your time. The interface is slick and there is art actually on there. But, if you’re looking for something to actually buy and put in your home: Pass this app.

A friend told me he would never show his art on something called “Artsy”. I told him he was a fool. Artsy is the best collective of artist around the world.

I used Artsy for a year with many serious problems No help with shipping and lost many sales as a result of no phone contact and non-supportive staff who seem to appear and disappear randomly and rarely respond promptly to eMail. But the worst is trying to close your account Artsy ignores e-mail so I have to send a legal registered letter to stop them from renewing my account Over $10,000 to use for a year slim to none customer service One of the worst online sites I have ever dealt with. I had to add a phone number in code just to continue discussing a sale that Artsy would offer no help with. I agreed to continue discussion after I ended my account. The buyer received no support on his end and explained that he felt badly that Artsy was near impossible to deal with. Closing my AC count has caused me to eMail CEO and send c opines of my email to legal council.

Overall, I love the app, but lately, I get stuck after searching for an artist just once. It gets stuck and I have to swipe out of it. It appeared to have been fixed in the last update and I was excited, but just tried attempted a new search and can’t even scroll through the list of artists once I have put anything on the search bar. Help!

Why can’t I sell my own art on here?

I ordered a painting via the app and it arrived damaged. The insurance the app offered is basically not worth much and the customer service is terrible. Next time I’m going to order straight from the gallery.
