Dear Fr. Mike I look forward each day to listen to you read the Bible. I wish I would have known about you and your project awhile ago. You give clear, concise explanations of the readings. No better way to start out one’s day!
When there is additional content for a particular day in BIY, if it is a video or graphic, most of the time it says there was an error and doesn’t load the content. However, if I tap thumbs down it loads the content successfully. Something seems just slightly off. That being said, the content is awesome!
Can there be more Bible study sessions and more studies like on Mary or the sacraments or on first and second Samuel or 1st and 2nd Kings etc? Love this app
What a magnificent app this is. Father Mike is amazing in presenting the Bible in an approachable and extremely knowledgeable way that truly captivates one’s attention. I cannot put it down and plan to do the catechism right after the Bible in a year. I can’t believe I waited this long to do this.

When I started Bible in a year, I was suffering from high anxiety. I don’t take any medication for it, but it was becoming debilitating. I started Bible in a year and did meditation through Hallow before starting each day. My anxiety has gone down considerably. Along with that, I am rediscovering my Catholicism. I have never read the Bible and I feel like I am learning so much. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to start their day out in a calm demeanor
I bought the annual subscription and I don’t regret it! I’m learning so much, and getting closer to God.
Why do religious leaders need to track me across other websites?? Why do they need to see my purchases?? You can see unscrupulous individuals looking to cash in on this information and sell it to other individuals for money, but ministers looking to spread God’s word, I find it hard to handle. So for this reason, i shall not download this app. 😔
I made a review before and I’ve seen the developers of this app use the suggestions to better it. So that makes me happy. With that being said I have 3 suggestions: 1. Sometimes we just want to read the Bible and listen to Fr Mike without doing Bible in a year. So, can you include a follow bar that would allow as he’s reading the bar would stay alongside the verse being read. This would be great so readers won’t get lost if they forget to scroll or scroll too much. 2. Multiple verse highlights at a time in a chapter. Sometimes I want to highlight verse 1,2,6&8 to copy and paste it in my notes or just to highlight at a time. 3. Ascension app widget for iOS. Love this app so much and love what you guys do.
