Astra Jigsaw HD is a challenging jigsaw puzzle game including lots of jigsaws.
For each puzzle you can choose seven different styles of pieces and smoothly change the number of pieces from 50 to 1600. In the most intricate style named Figure the pieces are shaped as animals, birds, fruits, toys, and other objects.
To make a puzzle easier to play, add the picture frame. To make a puzzle more challenging, turn on rotation of pieces.
To manage a vast number of pieces, you can use two playing windows. Use one window to make up a jigsaw and the other one to arrange or store pieces that you need not at the moment.
Select a group of pieces to move or neatly arrange them at once. To examine small pieces, use the Magnifying Glass.
You can save an incomplete jigsaw and later restore it. Up to nine puzzles in work can be saved simultaneously.
In addition to one thousand ready-to-use jigsaws, a jigsaw making feature is available. You can create your own puzzles from the images stored in the local iPhoto gallery. Or you can use the built-in search in the world largest image store Flickr. The maker is unlocked after purchasing four jigsaw collections.
Ambient sounds of ocean waves, chirping birds or singing crickets will make the playing more relaxing.
You can save the solved jigsaw to iPhoto gallery.

I have been doing crosswords for many years, in all forms. Now at this stage of my life (85) I am totally hooked on this. Nice variety, easy access, tidy - no spillage or lost pieces. Variety of shapes, difficulties, most attractive and colourful. Thank you Astra! Great.
Can’t be beat, best of the best!!!!!!
The is the best of the best jigsaw puzzle, hands down. So many options and you can use your own photos to make custom jigsaw puzzles. The only problem for me is that when the jigsaw is not in landscape mode, getting it to revert back to landscape from portrait mode to continue with another puzzle. I don’t like to have to go out of the app to switch between the two options. Maybe it’s either device or operator error. Other than minor detail everything else works perfectly. I have everyone of the puzzle options. Her other two games, Big Patience and Taipai are equally awesome. These are basically the only three games that I play daily. I do wish she would come out with new puzzles more than once a year. It’s too long to wait for new puzzles 😄
The best jigsaw app
It really is the best. Great puzzle selection, lots of controls for how easy or difficult you want and what type of piece cuts you want. I’ve played it for years and it’s just as good now as it was when I started.
Best jigsaw puzzle game
I used to play this game back when the first iPad came out. Over a decade later, when I had just had an iPhone, most other jigsaw games are really bad. Too many ads and the fact that you earn coins as an extrinsic reward for completing. Nothing beats this jigsaw puzzle game, so much so that this sparked a catalyst for deciding to get the new iPad, just so I can relax in this app during downtime.
You’re still the one 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Still my favorite everyday go-to app to relax especially in the evenings and during the night when I have insomnia.
This is by far the very best Jigsaw Puzzle app out there! And, the developer is awesome! I’ve been playing this for 25 years way back on my PC and my Pocket PC when I was just learning the computer. Lena the developer taught me so many things about my own computer and how to use files so I could save pictures for the jigsaw puzzles! I remember asking her if we could have ambient sound, and she developed ocean waves, birds singing, a babbling brook, and many others! If you purchase 3 sets, you get the ability to use your own pictures. I personally purchase every set she develops!
I love that this jigsaw app is so perfect. And with no dreadful animation! It’s just like doing a jigsaw puzzle with two tables. Double click on a piece to send it to the other table. Many sizes of pieces, and many different background colors. Another favorite thing of mine is that satisfying “click” when the pieces snap into place!
Thank you Lena for another Art set! The colors are so bright on this set! And thank you for always answering my letters after all these years!!!!!

Why can’t we get updates
It’s been a long time since we have gotten an update with new puzzles. How much longer.
Hands down best iPad jigsaw app!
Been using this for more years than I can count. It was the best jigsaw app back then and remains so today. Would love to see an iPhone version but otherwise don’t change a thing!
Top jigsaw
This app is really a must have it is excellent🌟
Best time I spend on on I Pad
I love it that there is now an Art VI, and really like
Larson and Bright colors. I do wonder if there is a place to go look for latest changes/additions to this masterpiece?
