Atlantic Fleet FAQ
Is Atlantic Fleet free?
Atlantic Fleet is not free (it costs 49.99), however it doesn't contain in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Atlantic Fleet legit?
🤔 The Atlantic Fleet app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Now this game is fun but if has some really inconsistent gameplay, the AI don’t have to play by the point system & the fleet limit system, allowing the AI to mindlessly pump out U-boats that flood the entire map and makes any gameplay as the British really unpleasant really quickly! Also, the player can’t use any ports in Africa even though historically the UK were able to use numerous French & Canadian ports, it really makes the overall experience feel more so as a German victory simulator, it is super easy to get overwhelmed and and the player can’t really do anything to stop it since the player can’t effectively prevent the AI from flooding the map with U-Boats & destroyers. It would be cool that if you have Britain’s bar down by half they would surrender when France fell, and it would be cool if a smoke effect was added to the funnels of ships for a more realistic feel, or maybe ships can by chance, split in half when sinking via exploding, overall the game isn’t that bad, just needs some improvements to its balancing/AI.

I accidentally wrote a review for this game on the lite version, which was not posted, so I will make this quick.
•Ship Models are good and some what detailed
•Battle of the Atlantic is a fun mode to play
•Single battle, in my opinion, is a fun option for recreating historical battles or creating your own
•I like the addition of the Lion class and the H20 class battleships
•I would have liked some GERMAN aircraft carriers , the Vanguard, and the O-class
•Historical accurate ships would have been nice
•Lutzôw should not have the triangular superstructure like the two other ships in her class
•Tirpetz should have torpedoes and scharnhorst should not
•Genisanau should only two guns per turret
It is unlikely the devs will come back to this game and fix all of this, cc I still enjoy the game
Needs some work
For a free game it will keep you occupied and not ask you to work too hard. Buuuuut, it will try your patience. The enemy ships can sail backwards. They can maneuver like kayaks- yes, even the battleships can do 180-degree turns while yours struggle to alter course 15 degrees. Their gunners are very good; yours are either stoned or blind. You will win most of the time, but if the computer decides it is time for you to lose, there is nothing you can do to alter. The complete war option is not explained- I never figured that out.
Almost 5 stars
Its amazing, but one thing keeps it from perfection
A depth charge can go off 3 inches from a submarine, but if its not in the underwater fireball thing it won’t damage the sub, they should make the area of damaging on the depth charge wider
Everything else is amazing
Fun, but glitched
It is one of my favorite games on my phone, however, when I did a custom battle and tried to bomb a carrier with a fritz X glide bomb, the bomb just fell to the ground without gliding, during my second attempt, instead of the bomb dropping, the plane did and the bomb just flew through the air, It is a great game, but there are glitched
Lvl 40 in campaign glitches out after about 15 mins of game play
This game is by far the best naval or warfare tyoe game I’ve played so much so I bought the real version 10$ that’s why this is a huge issue to me I can not go past level 40 I am solidly smashing the enemy and everytime at the same precise point in the game a merchant ship makes its groups turn which should take it to me turn but it locks up everytime like this I can not find a button to reach support so at this point if I don’t get a message back on a fix I’ll be requesting a refund for what I find as one of the best naval war games I’ve ever played again so much I spent real cash to buy it I never do that I spend in game but never buy games please help me with this issue I would prefer you all keep the money make better games so I can keep buying them but only if they work
German Aircraft Carriers
I know it sounds kind of outlandish, but adding German aircraft carriers to the game would be pretty cool. I know there were only about 4 that were never completed, but it was the same situation with the H39 class featured in-game that was supposed to field 6 ships, yet only 2 are usable. Plus, being able to incorporate German aircraft like the BF-109 that cannot be found in-game would be cool as a carrier fighter option as well as the ability for TBF avengers on American carriers to carry torpedos. Also, some ships on both sides have floatplanes that aren’t able to be used at all. It’d be cool if you could use up 1 turn launching a floatplane that would add like a 20% buff to rangefinder accuracy once in the air, and also the ability for them to carry a couple small bombs on them. Also, more American ships like the Fletcher class of destroyers that also helped escort convoys as far as Iceland in WW2.
These are just some suggestions I had in mind, but I feel that they’d add more fun content and abilities to the game that’s make at a bit more enjoyable.
Extremely accurate; well atleast the AI is….
Don’t waste your time on this game. Pure lack of support and the targeting system is as accurate as trumps claim of election fraud. There are three things you are guaranteed in this life. Taxes, death, and an extremely accurate Ai that lands 95% of their shots as opposed to the 20% of yours. No matter how you adjust it will fly over or in front of the target each time. Be sure to take your aspirin because this game can trigger heart attacks from shock during the random times you actually land a shot. But don’t get excited; there is a 90% chance you will have your whole fleet sunk by a support ship before it takes enough of your shells to be sunk. Stay sane and stay away.
Fun mobile game
This game is pretty good for a mobile game. I play it on my MacBook Air because of the bigger screen. So far the Atlantic campaign is fun to play, it is difficult which adds to my interest. A verity of ships are at your disposal on both sides. I feel this could be even more though. Adding more British cruisers like the Aerithusa’s or C,D and E classes would be a nice touch. Germany is hard pressed for more warships though. My suggestion would be either have Vichy French ships or Italian Ships that also are playable for the German player. Some ships are inaccurate. Yes it’s a mobile game and is older but some models should be varied. York and Exeter were not in the same class. The County class had sub classes that looked different (IE London), not all L class destroyers had one launcher. Southampton and Edinburgh are technically in different classes aswell. I understand that this is a nitpick but it would be really cool to see the proper models in game that correspond with that ship’s name. 1 thing I hate are the air strikes. AA does not do anything whatsoever and it’s insane that all of the German ships can launch air strikes on my fleet. 6 strikes from 6 U-Boats really? Besides that this game is fun to play. I has decent graphics and has kept me interested longer than I expected.
