Not a groundbreaking experience, but still very entertaining.

Wonderful game.

The author has done a wonderful job at creating a turn base game that has excellent graphics and playability. Well I don’t play it every day when I get disgusted with games that have advertisements, etc., I come back to Atlantic Fleet. There are so many iterations that can be created. Either in a custom battle or doing part of the campaign or all of the campaign. Thank you, authors for creating a very, very good game.

Needs a major update & new ships

I’ve played this game many times but this game seriously needs an update and have more ships , especially more US ships , bring the Italian navy ships to the axis side. Major ships I want in this game: ——————————————————————— Allied forces ships: Iowa class battleships in the allied forces. Note: Iowa will only be the only ship it’s class because due to Iowa being the only ship it’s class to service in the Atlantic and would be available during February 1943 (but if the other iowas including the 2 not finished iowa classes: Illinois & Kentucky show, that would be very epic) New York class battleships in the allied forces. Available in 1941 South Dakota class battleships in the allied forces available in 1942 New Mexico class battleships in the allied forces available in 1941 Oklahoma class battleship in the allied forces (only Nevada) available in 1942 Wyoming class battleship in the allied forces (only Arkansas) available in 1942 New Orleans class heavy cruiser in the allied forces available in 1941 Northampton class heavy cruiser in the allied forces available in 1941 Cleveland class light cruiser in the allied forces available in 1942 Fletcher class destroyers (highly recommended) in the allied forces available in 1942 ——————————————————————— The Axis forces Graf zeppelin class carriers Available during 1941 The Italian navy for the axis forces: Italian carrier Aquila in the axis forces Available during 1943 Italian carrier sparviero in the axis forces Available during 1943 Littorio class battleships Available during 1940 Francesco caracciolo class battleships Available during 1940 Andrea Doria class battleships Conte di Cavour class battleships Italian cruisers Italian destroyers

It’s good, but it should be in World War I

Good but I like in ww1

The AI is all powerful here. Nothing you do is going to fix that. The gunnery for the player is inconsistent in terms of range and no matter what you do, you’re going to miss half the time, player range finding is garbage, don’t bother. The damage done to AI ships is unrealistic in its ineffectiveness while the AI can blow up your battleship with a destroyer. The name should be Aggravating Fleet. I hate it.

Cool idea I had

For a potential update I would like to see Fortifications and raids to the game. How could this work. For Fortifications you could click/tap on a allied base Say Scapa Flow for example and a button would appear Called “Fortifications” where you can add Fortifications like artillery and sunken ships For renown. For Raids if you click/tap On an Enemy Base A button could appear called “Raid” where you can select Warships to be used. If you want for renown You can Modify the selected ships with Explosives or Raked Funnels. When You hit a button Called “Send Raid” it could function like An ordinary Battle But with objectives. For ships with explosives there could be a option to explode the ship destroying the target (A dry dock For example). That’s about it and if you read this far thank you.

No balance between player & AI

Now this game is fun but if has some really inconsistent gameplay, the AI don’t have to play by the point system & the fleet limit system, allowing the AI to mindlessly pump out U-boats that flood the entire map and makes any gameplay as the British really unpleasant really quickly! Also, the player can’t use any ports in Africa even though historically the UK were able to use numerous French & Canadian ports, it really makes the overall experience feel more so as a German victory simulator, it is super easy to get overwhelmed and and the player can’t really do anything to stop it since the player can’t effectively prevent the AI from flooding the map with U-Boats & destroyers. It would be cool that if you have Britain’s bar down by half they would surrender when France fell, and it would be cool if a smoke effect was added to the funnels of ships for a more realistic feel, or maybe ships can by chance, split in half when sinking via exploding, overall the game isn’t that bad, just needs some improvements to its balancing/AI, and the inconsistent damage, because sometimes a single torpedo could hit my British battleship and the battleship would sink to that one torpedo even though it hit in the center, the most armored part of the ship.

Fun to play
