Automower Connect Reviews

Not very happy!

dftrdf on

Australia

If you’re thinking of buying an Automower and you have any slopes in your lawn at all, I’d advise you to think again my mower gets stuck at least 30 times a day! It may be great for a completely flat lawn with no obstacles or no garden beds are slightly lower than the lawn, but if you have any slopes or lawns up against fences, the mower get stuck every few minutes. It would be great if they worked as they are advertised, but they just don’t.

App is rubbish - not worth the money

Suzy’s Review on

Australia

This app is poorly designed and updates are infrequent. Google maps only get updated bi-annually and it’s only use it to stop and start the mower. I don’t feel $450 is a good price to pay for an app that stops and starts the mower. Do your self a favour and save your hard earned money.

If it were not for the amazing dealer service, I’d probably be disappointed. I bought this mower so I could manage it from afar via the connect app, but I have only been able to connect to the mower once whilst away from home. My dealer can connect though, so he keeps an eye on it. We don’t know what the issue is, but my lawns are still being mowed.

Very slow load

Recent update and extremely long to load mowers

Clock doesn’t keep time

Martinn89 on

Australia

The “mower time” clock in the app runs slow by about 20 minutes per day. I have to manually reset the time every day to keep the mower on schedule or it starts later and later each day. There is already a button to reset the time to the time on the phone. So why can’t it just do this automatically? I would really like this fixed as it kind of makes the schedule pointless if the mower doesn’t know the correct time.

Never works

App and mower always fault

Not very good

Dundy Dude on

Doesn’t always respond to commands and changes don’t always save. Poor user interface.

Glitchy, slow and restricted

jc_lloyd on

Australia

This app is actually pretty terrible. I don’t know how it is rated 4+ stars overall. Possibly if you set your mower up once and never use it again it’s alright but overall it needs so much work.

Turn stay out zones remotely

Jim. Barrie on

Australia

Seems stupid to the ability to turn on and off work zones but not stay out zones. Like most users we use stay out zones for boggy or hazardous areas and you have to Bluetooth to the machine to turn off. Seems a bit backwards.

Great idea poor delivery

Matty11234567891064774 on

Just when I get everything working you update the app and change things that cause issues in my setup. I also have to take the mower AND charging station all the way to the dealer for support. I bought this mower because I am disabled When it works it is great but I’ve had more issues than I can describe and you make it so hard to get support. It’s designed to be outside. Make the whole thing and the app more robust with fewer updates and don’t make me your beta test when you deploy updates
