An App that doesn’t work for months on end with a clear lack of interest in providing a solution to customers running iOS. You need to outsource your development to people who know what they are doing because this is not the way for a once prestigious company to operate.
Constantly fails to dock. Checked level docking station all OK but still refuses to dock most times. Agent I purchased it from is awaiting replacement PCB which he says will fix problem! It’s less than three months old. I’m not impressed! Walter.
Why does the Husqvarna app repeatedly ask for the PIN code to connect over Bluetooth? I understand it needs the PIN code to pair the app with the mower initially but why doesn’t it just cache the PIN code and use it automatically after that? It even does this when I’m not attempting to use a function that requires Bluetooth. Other Bluetooth devices don’t do this (e.g. cars)
Please do not upgrade your software so that it is incompatible with existing mowers, and then now tell your customers. Many customers will think their mowers need fixing and new control boards fitted at their expense when all along you are causing these problems with your own software updates. It makes for terrible PR, damage to your brand and shows a complete lack of integrity.
Latest version has introduced serious Bluetooth connectivity issues. It loses connection every few seconds now where it didn’t before.
Hi Developers! Latest update talked about a new whizzy tool that works with the size of the lawn and your mowers capacity…says it’s on the mower page under the schedule tile…but can’t see it! Just the cutting height and schedule tiles showing as usual, no new one…
Had the mower a couple of years. The only remote function on mine is via a blue tooth connection through the app. It’s not very reliable, often failing to make a connection at all or taking ages. Done all the instruction manual tips but it remains hit and miss. Very frustrating.
All in all, not a bad app. Does what it is meant to do, but have a few niggles. The IFTTT weather integration became unreliable and often the mower would be Parked despite days of full sun in the summer. Deleting the IFTTT integration is not complete as the mower still Parks for IFTTT weather despite the IFTTT weather option not being present/enabled. How about adding a reminder to change blades, say after so many mowing hours? Good for those people who forget! The App Drive controller is difficult to use, and can spend ages trying to get it to move in the right direction. Just needs a little refinement. The map trace / tracking is a good feature, but needs more frequent updates to make the tracking smoother.
Need to improve. Not so easy to use
