This app is buggy. It does not remain signed in which is frustrating. I need to login every week. Also sometimes the app needs to be deleted and reinstalled, because it does not recognise the latest issue is available for download. It asks for me to pay for it through my apple account but I am subscribed and signed in through my autosport account, not my apple id. Considering the shift to digital media its disappointing that this app has not been maintained and has been left without an update for two years. To the developers, please update this app, ‘Motorsport’ magazine is also delivered through an app on iPad and it is much better, use this a standard to aim for. FYI, I am using an iPad Pro 1st gen.

Ok it’s less buggy lately but the notifications simply don’t work. When you do get them it just opens the mobile site so you have to log in to view it. Has this thing even been tested??

I pay for this and it makes me log in every time you want to read a “plus” story when when I tick “remember me”. Absolutely no response when you try to log a problem with the publisher too. A real shocking way to be treated when I contribute to their wage!

How can a publisher who claims to be "The world's leading motorsport authority" put it's name to such an appalling app. Almost 100% one star reviews make it clear that something needs to be done. The same complaints month after month & still no response. The current digital editions of Autosport are available from other sites so what possible excuse can you have.

Posting a bit of help for everyone else who seems stuck in the same position of this awful app. If you have a digital subscription and a Mac computer you can download the magazine via the website and then air drop the pdf to your phone and read in the Apple Books application. Not ideal but works. As per the rest of the comments please sort the app out as it doesn’t download ! I

I tried this again and it’s still rubbish. Due to COVID-19 I tried to purchase the current issue. The process said success then “Oops Fail”. I closed the app & checked my card and no purchase there. Back in the app I tried again and it said “Repeat purchase”!! Aaaarghhhh. How much money are you guys losing? It’s a fantastic magazine and the staff working on it deserve better than this load of bollox. Time to delete the app again and try again in 12 months maybe......

I would love to read Autosport but find it impossible with this app. I should have got the printed version. Now I have paid for a year and I can’t see how I’ll read any. Absolutely rubbish app. Is there anyone responsible for running this app, I don’t think so. I now can’t even get into my account or even change my password. Wish I’d never paid for the digital version.

I love the magazine and would like to subscribe to the digital version, but the lag in making current issues available on the app makes that pointless. I’m writing this on 25th September, and the latest issue available is the 3rd September issue with the Spa report. Three issues are or have been on shop shelves but are not available to read on the app, and I’ve no interest in subscribing to a package that would mean I’d be reading race reports 2 or 3 weeks (or more) after the event. My other magazine apps upload their issues on the day of retail release. That’s the standard, and anything else is unacceptably poor.
