AXIS Camera Station Pro & 5

After numerous updates this app is barely of any use. The last update freezes when setting speed to 4x in playback. You have to click the X in the upper left portion of the screen to go back to cameras, then you can view recordings again util it freezes again It skips recorded material, just fast forward past them, if you go back. and view the recording holding your finger on the timeline you can see the recording. And Yes, ACS is the latest version installed, app and server are on the local network, no external access.

Thanks! Version 1.16.25 was a great improvement with a stored setting for stream quality. Is it possible to set this limit on a camera level so the least important cams streams in low and the others in high quality? Now it´s a global setting for all cams 🤔 This wouldn’t been an issue without the data limit/month...

I can enter the information, but no connection. Could be my error, who knows.

Actions are unavailable through the app since the new update

This app has come far. As a platform integrator, we’ve experimented with various VMS systems. In our informed opinion, Axis Camera Station is the “lightest” and most stable of all our tested apps. They’ve packed a lot of the most used functionality into a straightforward app that doesn’t overly compromise battery life. Bottom line, the older reviews of this app similarly aren’t reflective of its modern capabilities.

I used to be able to view the fisheye cameras by zooming in with my fingers and manipulating the views. Now it doesn’t work. It only zooms in and out in fisheye view which is worthless.

Still only supports H.264. After all the years axis has had MJPEG, MPEG and pre-H.264 cameras and the many years this app has been available, STILL the app does not support this large number of legacy AXIS cameras. Who even thinks about this app? Nobody? An intern could have programmed codec support into an app like this in a day.. but.. years later nothing. Shameful. Please add support for this. (Might as well delete this app in the meantime.. waste of space)

Version 4.11.0 crashes when logging out of servers.

These cameras are terrible, the company is constantly having updates and it just keeps getting worse. Cannot view any of the cameras…what a waste of $$$$$ and don’t forget about our time.

This app used to be able to display past videos in bottom timeline. Ever since a couple updates ago it is now hit and miss. Sometime shows up sometimes does not. Does not have this issue on PC.
