Connectivity and loading
The app used to be amazing, but now you can not get it to connect and stay connected. Not to mention once you do get it connected the video does not load. This has been an issue for far too long, Axon.

Just like the title says.
On my agency phone, I can’t playback a video for more than 20 seconds before it stops to buffer again, and I can’t scrub to any other point in the video. My personal phone is a little newer, and when I connect my BWC my personal phone has no issue loading or scrubbing to a later time in the video. If you’re having playback issues on an older agency phone, try the app on a newer phone. ***but, Axon, it would be nice if (1) the app worked on something other than the latest phone, and (2) videos could be uploaded to evidence.com using a USB cable and my in-car laptop.
Like a lot of people have stated, I have to delete and reinstall the app completely, everytime I need to switch to my second camera. I never had problems with the older system, but now it’s a giant pain.
…that my department will switch to another BWC system. They haven’t gotten the app right in ten years, so there’s no reason to think they’ll do it now. App for viewing footage can’t actually view footage. I wouldn’t be upset if they called it “Axon Label,” because you can label videos, but not view them.
Yet another update with “bug fixes” yet the same issues over and over. Getting really tired of the app and the camera not syncing and having to delete and reinstall the app. Nearly every day! Get with it already!
What good is reviewing body camera footage from a call if it doesn’t load or freezes when you skip over a part? App has been horrible for the two years I’ve had to use it.
App has worked well for the months I’ve been using it. The latest update has cause intolerable connection issues for all of our cameras on every deputy’s phone. Camera will not pair to a phone anymore period and simply gets stuck on “Bonding…” during the pairing process. Phone reboots, app reinstalls, camera reboots, yet nothing has remedied this issue and the app is unusable. Please fix this AXON.
This app used to be great for viewing videos in the field to assist with reports. Now it’s a shell of what it used to be. Camera will not stay connected to Wi-Fi and we can only view approximately 60 seconds of video before it fails. When you contact axon they’ll blame you and the bwc despite widespread reports from multiple agencies about the app’s failures.
Similar issues as the others, does not connect to camera. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall several times. Multimillion dollar company and they can’t seem to fix the simplest of issues.
