The gadget is great just wish the hole through the unit was bigger than 13mm as it restricts the flow output

The app is glitchy and often unresponsive and unreliable. Not as good as I had hoped…

After the app update, my tap timer is now showing disconnected. Ive paired it again so many times and replaced battery but still have the same issue. I even bought a new timer thinking the old one is faulty but no, they both cant connect via wifi or bluetooth.

Works pretty well. I found a couple of times, setting up a new program/tap, I put in the start date & time & it still didn’t want to start. Few tries and finally got it going, once going it was fine. Biggest con is that you can’t oversee all taps and zones & control on your Home Screen. What would be cool is if you didn’t have to click on just one tap at a time to control that one and view it etc. should be able to control & view all at once and create programs for multiple zones. If it could do that I think it would be perfect. Also would be cool if you could set soil profiles, moisture level settings for greenhouse but growing as seed trays/above ground. I get warnings that I’m overwatering.

Absolutely brilliant. Best thing since sliced bread.

Buggy, difficult, lots of updates etc

I got this to set up a 5 zone system and I have 0 regrets. Wiring it up was very simple even having never done it before, and the internet/app connection it basically does itself. All in all installation was a breeze! The Smart Watering setting is very clever and once set right, you can literally forget about it and it does what it needs to do. There are plenty of weather stations around so it can get some relatively accurate weather info. The one thing I have found is that it isn’t very easy to hook up your own weather station to it. Not needing to has meant it hasn’t been an issue but can imagine it could be if there aren’t any around for Smart Watering feature. Adjusting the settings can take some time when you don’t know fully understand it but that was my lack of knowledge not the software so can’t really fault it there as it does have a simplified version to assist you. I’ve recommended it to other friends and they’ve all been happy with the product.

I wouldn’t purchase similar again. Drops wifi whenever you give it an instruction and troubleshoot gives no clues. Don’t buy

Ok so very poor experience adding devices etc. Seasoned smart home user but this app takes the trophy. All devices installed but wants me to add a zone, so go to the zone page and it is blank. Nothing zero nadda, a bit of a search online shows how it should look but nothing loads.

With a recent update I am no longer able to create or select “zones”. The whole system relies on using zones to create watering programs, if you can’t make or use zones the whole product is useless. Even when it did work the app was not intuitive and hard to use. I won’t be buying any more of b-hyve products.
