Description

Backgammon is a classic board game popular with many players around the world. Whether you are a beginner or expert player, this game may help to exercise your mind or relax after a long day at work. Enjoy classic gameplay right on your device, train your brain and have fun!

How to play Backgammon:

- Classic Backgammon is a logic puzzle for two, played on a board of 24 triangles called points.
- Each player sits on the opposite sides of the board with 15 checkers, black or white.
- To start the game, players take turns and roll the dice.
- Players move pieces based on the numbers rolled. For example, if you roll 2 and 5, you can move one piece 2 points and another one 5 points. Alternatively, you can move one piece 7 points.
- Once all of a player’s pieces are in his or her “home”, that player may begin removing pieces off of the board.
- A player wins once all of their pieces are removed from the board.

A few more things to know:

- Rolling two of the same number allows you to move 4 times. For example, for a roll of 4 and 4, you can move a total of 16 points, although each piece must move 4 points at a time.
- You cannot move a piece to a point that is occupied by 2 or more of your opponent’s pieces
- If you move a piece to a point with only 1 of your opponent’s pieces on it, the rival’s piece is removed from the board and placed on the middle partition.

Simple and intuitive design lets you focus on the gameplay and master your skills. Start your first round, challenge yourself and keep your brain active!

Weak opponent and incorrect doubling

Bob.NZ on

Doubling needs to happen before dice roll. Also doesn’t always allow doubling when it should

I am the winner

the bit always wins

wolfie 01 on

it’s a good game but it’s so biased towards the system. every time you have one piece by itself the bot always somehow manages to roll the exact number needed to get you out every time. one time i was winning a game and the bot somehow rolled FIVE doubles in a row, it’s so biased it’s basically unplayable at some points

Dice manipulation

gdsound on

This game has no AI, each bot opponent has the same moves and it feels like the dice are not random but manipulated to give the bot opponent an upper hand on certain rounds.

The dice are rigged

saski. H-H on

I would loved to have said that it was a good game but the dice are very uneven. You will lose in nearly every situation.

This game is rigged.

Thisisf*^#ed on

Very frustrating how the dice favours one side. 70% of the time it’s the computer. The amount of doubles is ridiculous and constantly throwing winning numbers just when the computer side needs them. Also computer doesn’t land on opposition when it should a lot of the time. It’s not even close to playing how two humans would. Very disappointing.

Would be very handy for people to learn this game and any tips. I’ve played about 20 games just to get the basic hang of it.

Systems dice is loaded

SneakyB4 on

On average of 10 games AI had an average of 8 to 3 doubles. The same goes for the high to low ratio of numbers 7 times more high numbers to low numbers 7:3 and on moves it managed to cover all its moves with exact dice throws 5:1. A physically impossibility on a normal game.

AI too easy to beat

AussiePete22 on

This is generally a good game. It looks good, there are not too many ads (normally 1 or 2 during a game, plus one at the end) and I do not think the rolls favour the AI. One point of improvement I would like to see is the AI making smarter moves. Recently, I have noticed it missing obvious chances to hit me. For example, I had 2 unprotected pieces on points 5 and 7. The AI had a piece on the bar. It rolled a 5 and 2, meaning it could have hit both of my pieces. But instead it put the bar piece on point 2, and moved a different piece for the 5. These inexplicably bad decisions has made it too easy to beat the AI. It would be nice to see it improved, with different difficulty settings so that beginners can still enjoy the game too.

So many doubles for the NPC ruins game!

Lavender Li Family on

This game gives disproportionate doubles to itself. I wouldn’t mind if it was a bit to its own advantage but the ratio is 6 to 1 - deleted game as was meant to be relaxing but was just a frustrating waste of time.
