I’d been using Arlo’s “Set List Maker” for years. I thought it was the greatest and most useful music tool ever till he put me onto “Bandhelper”. I’m no longer nervous about losing everything! Will always be there online and totally up-to-date. It’s the start of a new era for me and so far, I’m only using a fraction of what the App can do. I’m telling every muso I know. Thanks Arlo!
George Harvey.
Customer service by Arlo is superb
I can’t speak highly enough of the super customer service provided by Arlo. I’ve just completed the free one month trial, which has given me the opportunity to get set up. Arlo has been responsive to any questions I have asked (from Australia). We are a band with 5 members, and I see nothing but amazing potential for us developing with Bandhelper. Thank you Arlo !
Nope, too hard - NEXT!!
For a mobile trying to register us a nightmare on a iPhone or iPad Mini. Gave and went back to my old app.
Nothing Compares
This is the best app I have come across for musicians well worth the money good to see that they have paid attention to detail and have left no stone unturned I highly recommend it
My favourite performance app!
This app is so incredibly useful for live musicians. It's so versatile, and the fact that they take feedback from their customers, and implement positive changes to the app within the week, is a testament to how great this app is, and where it will continue to go!
The Best Musician/Band App
I had been using the standalone version of this app “SetList Maker” for many years; and prior to that tested a number of apps, finally settling on what I found to be the best.
I migrated to the BandHelper app to take advantage of the wider features and multi-device synchronisation. This app has streamlined the whole repertoire management for me. I am a session musician, playing for a number of artists and bands and I manage all details in this one easy to use application.
Best App for solo muso ever.
I’ve been a full time pro soloist for 20 years and this app has revolutionised the efficiency in which I can perform. From auto scrolling lyrics, to choosing songs on the fly with an index, to instantly selecting one of 500 presets instantly on my chosen ‘Do it all’ VL3X. Of course there have been glitches but Arlo is constantly improving and for me, this works seamlessly and has not crashed in a year of performing approx 4 times per week on iPad and iPhone. Incredibly customisable. Absolutely brilliant. Can not imagine gigging without this now.
Great for gigging bands
This app has been a revelation. It is a central source of truth for all our band related activity. I use it to track finances, keep our gig diary, manage set lists, make notes on individual songs and so much more. The synch across multiple platforms means that all members can access the data in a way that is most comfortable to them. I would give this 5 stars but I have only been using it for a while. No complaints so far & I would thoroughly recommend.
Glitchy interface , needs simplifying
The app has features that give it the potential to be very good however the sync servers are very slow and the interface is sticky and glitchy especially if you have large lists. Bandhelper crashes often when trying to share lists and often displays sync and error messages. Serious musicians, think twice before purchasing the upgrades. If you only have a small amount of songs and dont plan to create lots of edits and setlists it may be ok for you. The interface is quite back to front and convoluted. Some simple edits take a lot of time so not efficient if you're looking to do multiple edits or sorting in a hurry.
Bandhelper Review by Segue
This app has solved so many headaches for me and enables easy compilation of set lists, repertoire, stage setups, schedules, gig dates/details, financials, in fact, most band-related matters are covered. All information is able to be transferred between members and printed/downloadable. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you're in or manage a band, you simply must have this app!
