I have used many banking apps and this is by far the worst. It is clunky and messy. Common actions are hidden away or hard to located while, by default, shortcuts have been set up for completely useless actions. The app looks ugly. You can do limited actions through the app, and internet banking is required for many things. Changes my partner makes to accounts in our joint name, such as account names and scheduled payments don’t appear for me. So I essentially can’t see our scheduled payments… if I were to add them on my end it would create a duplicate. How in 2024 when banking has become so digital can an app be this poor? Don’t be fooled by the “voted best banking app” rubbish!!

Seriously, hire some professionals. This is garbage tier stuff.

i know bom and st george are the same companies but can yall make the bom digital card show bom instead of st george? i raised this issue with the IT team 5 weeks ago and they didn’t fix it. It shouldn’t take that long to fix, come on guys

Logged in as a new user, then app crashed and can no longer log in. Tried calling customer service…. The automated response was to talk to an operator was to log into the app and call from there… ummmmm Need a zero star rating there

Extremely easy app to navigate. Never had an issue and I’ve been a customer for many many years. What ever I need to do, from transferring funds to scheduled payments, there are no issues. Not sure why others have given bad reviews but this is one of most user friendly apps I’ve ever had, especially for banking.

I’ve used a fair few banking apps in my time, the Bank of Melbourne app has to be the worst out there. To start with the layout is super dated, the buttons and navigation is super ambiguous way too many menus and spots to navigate through. Adding a card to my wallet just straight up doesn’t work. The app prioritises showing current balance instead of available balance which can cause issues with understanding how much I have available at any one time. I could probably put up with that, but the app constantly either glitches out or is unavailable for use. Time to scrap this app and start over!

App has average look and appearance, no dark mode setting which is almost a must for light sensitive people , the balance amount is shown on the left hand side unlike normal set up by other bank and it s quite annoying to me, the only good thing is interest rate is competitive, should they improve this app I might consider them as my main bank.

Setting up iPhone 15 plus wallet, go in BOM app to verify id - please select two forms of id .. options available - birth cert, fine… option passport- I don’t have one, where is option for drivers licences etc? Ok continue with work status, birthday etc all good then nothing finished. Get email telling me I can go back anytime to finish verification- details still there no other option for licence at all. (So as I’m BOM customer, why did it put St George card in my wallet? -yes I know there affilated )
