Banner Saga

A truly wonderful gem of a game. Played it on PC as well. Not for everyone though. It is slow paced (I personally love that) and is mainly focused on story / choices. Combat can be challenging but a bit simple. Wonderful artwork and soundtrack. Wonderful story. Works better on PC or iPad (due to small screen on iPhone). All in all they should make more games like this.

Excellent game. Pretty artwork, well written story and excellent voice alting (although I’m biased since I’m Icelandic and love hearing my language in games).

Great artwork, good story, fun battles (where winning each is the essential part of the gameplay); and good leveling system. Turn based combat. Cam only say good things about the game!

This is a very slow game, only play if you have a lot of time to spend.

There are some issues with the interface and the resolution is really low when you zoom in during battles, but the art direction is awesome, the setting is interesting, and the game is really fun.

For a game that is based on trail and error the save system is idiotic. It's infuriating and a bloody waste of time having to sit through scenes again and again because something went wrong or you wanted to try something differently! Please fix it. Because this is a beautiful game with lots of depth. It's a shame for these little things to ruin it. Just let the player decide when to save or at least before every battle. And let us decide which save spaces are used. I've lost hours because the save I left to tjek something in a prevoius save was lost since it was in the resume save thingy and I couldnt move it myself because the player isnt trusted with the save spaces! And how was I supposed to know there was an invisible save point ahead! Goodness! Fix it! It's infuriating since there is a good game here but I can't get to it!

I do not normally write reviews, yet here I am. This game is absolutely brilliant for its genre. It is immersive, challenging, and worth every difficult decision you will have to make. It is very much worth your time. Be careful though, lives depend on your decisions.

This game has one of the best stories ever told to stand with your favorite band of characters it’s hard to explain it it’s just amazing I’m very emotional right now
