First thing is the absolutely stunning artwork that has been put into this game. It’s incredible and breathtaking.
The storyline is gripping and the characters are strong and develop brilliantly as the story evolves
The action turn base rounds are brilliantly executed and the powers and upgrades one can get are awesome
I was hesitant to purchase this for my IPhone as I was worried about the gameplay and functionality. But to be honest it’s perfect and by far the best UX I have had on a mobile game. This really is a 5/5 game. It was worth every cent and the developers deserve all the credit. Can’t wait to finish the first one so I can purchase the second edition.
Banner Saga on iPad
Great roleplaying game with different dialogue choices (each with their own outcomes). The turn-based fighting system makes for interesting tactical strategies.
The only complaints are that the dialogue selections can be tricky to select (small text) with fingers. And on the battle tactical board, some of the figures (friends and enemy) can be obstructed by others in front of them, making it slightly difficult to manage (or see their stats).
Otherwise highly recommended!

I do not normally write reviews, yet here I am. This game is absolutely brilliant for its genre. It is immersive, challenging, and worth every difficult decision you will have to make. It is very much worth your time. Be careful though, lives depend on your decisions.
The story made me cry
This game has one of the best stories ever told to stand with your favorite band of characters it’s hard to explain it it’s just amazing I’m very emotional right now
Best tactics RPG game on iOS
The tactics elements are easy to learn but hard to master. There is sufficient depth there to warrant many replays of the storyline.
Speaking of which… wow! Very mature, thoughtfully written characters. I love the dark tone and the Nordic influences on world building. Also, the crazy deviations caused by your choices in the world only make replaying more appealing.
Can’t recommend this game (and series) enough. Really hope dev makes more games at some point.
An enjoyable game
I really enjoyed the game. It took me a few tries to learn all the intricacies of battle. It’s cool how the random situations
/decisions required throughout the game can have a big impact on the outcome. My only complaint is that the game is actually rather short once you figure it out making the $10 price seem a bit much.
Epic play, total legendary atmosphere
A great title which follows an ever more mythic progression of viking lore. RuneQuest fans and D&D fans should not miss it!
Font size is extremely small, too small to read & play the game
I have an iPhone 13. I just got the game, so I haven’t played that much, but all of the text in the game, including tutorial instructions and game-play conversations are needlessly small.
After playing a second time, I just deleted the game. Too frustrating to bother with. It might be worth playing if font size was larger.
