Very helpful for expats, and international buyers
I've been using Baopals for years. They can help you get whatever you need from Taobao and Tmall if you can't read & write Chinese. There's a slight charge atop the original price but that's worth the vastly improved convenience of having full English service. I know some people say "you can just screenshot Taobao and translate it" but that's not a good long-term solution at all. If you're going to be looking through dozens, or hundreds or products, it'll take forever. And if there's any problem with shipping; or you need something customized; or you have very specific dietary requirements (if you're buying food) that just won't cut it. Hence the importance of the English interface and assistance in communicating with sellers. I have had some issues occasionally with getting the wrong size or model of something, but the customer service always walked me through it and got everything fixed pretty quickly. Overall, highly recommended.
