Love barre3, really don’t like the new search/filter…
I’m not sure why the previous filtering feature was removed and a general search was added. Now instead of being able to multi-filter by type of class, props, length, etc., there’s a search bar that you have to type something into before those filters will appear. And some of the old filters are missing—the all standing, plankless, and no props options are gone. Worst of all, it seems you can only select one filter at a time, which is really disappointing. The app used to be much more intuitive. I’m not sure why extra steps were added to the UX.
Filter Changed for the Worse
I have loved using the Barre3 Online app when I travel and can’t attend a class in person. I could filter the classes by the equipment I wanted to use, such as resistance bands, weights, etc. That appears to no longer be an option. When I use the filter, it takes me to a search, not actual options for filtering. :(
Improvements needed.
It’d be nice if I could filter the classes by the equipment I have.
App does not work
I downloaded this app and could never get it to open a workout or stop glitching.
Love Barre 3 BUT APP IS TERRIBLE
I had a good run for a few months of no issues with the application. Now anytime I try or cast on my TV it just shuts down. It takes forever to load any page except for my favorites on the application and the website. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app, I’ve made sure my phone is updated. I’ve turned on and off my app and cleared my cookies on my web browsers. Please fix the app so we can enjoy our classes again!
Love Barre3, not so much the app yet
I have been doing Barre3 online for almost 3 years. I absolutely love all the workouts and online instructors. I like the look of the app, but I’m bummed all the features I’m used on the web version are not working properly yet. None of my workouts save and there is no way to add a workout on the app. When I go and try to add the workouts on the desktop version it says I logged an in studio workout. 🤔 I’m confident the developers can work out the kinks and I’m looking forward to more updates and improvements.
I wish I could access private collections
Update 10/4/23: new update, allows you to look at your favorites! This is huge in a long time in coming. Still can’t access, private collections, but it’s still a huge step to be able to look at all your favorites.
Logging into the browser is still easier to get what I’m looking for. I love that my subscription can now carry over to downloadable videos on my phone! The portable ease rocks! But I look forward to future improvements in the app. Things like: -Being able to read the whole title without having to play the video. -Being about to schedule a workout from the barre3 desktop site and find it with ease on my app. -Syncing recently watch workouts in app and desktop browser.
Each update makes the app worse
I LOVE Barre3! This has nothing to do with their service other than this app continues to get worse. The last update made it difficult for me to stream to my TV. Another update has now lead to issues for me to use my subscription. Every time I click on a session I want to do, it tells me I have to buy a subscription while I’m logged into my paid subscription account. I’ve double checked and I’ve paid through the end of the year. I can also access everything without issues via my laptop. It’s the app, not the services.
Frustrating to use…
I love barre3, but this app is terrible. First, the inability to save favorites is ridiculous. I have to save them on the website and refer back, which is frustrating. Trying to find videos takes way longer than it should because the app constantly resets to the top of the page. If you do manage to find the video you’re looking for and need to pause it for any reason or go back a few seconds, it will either restart or go to a completely random part of the video. I think if you stick to the weekly plan they provide and have no intention of pausing the videos, you’ll be fine, but if you want to do anything else, you’ll be wasting a lot of time. I find myself not using it as much as I’d like because it’s not worth the hassle.
Miss the Calendar
I love Barre3. I have used the online classes for over 3 years now. I used Barre3 during my entire pregnancy and now postpartum. I originally just went to the website each time and logged in until recently, I downloaded the app. The app is more convenient with logging in and being on my Home Screen, however I really miss my calendar. It was a big motivator to get a sticker for completing and seeing how many workouts I’ve been doing. This feature is lacking within the app. I hope this gets fixed!
