Barre Definition Reviews

The fitness app is the best.

Jacqueline is such a great instructor. The exercises are not just a bunch of burpee's to where you feel like you dying. It’s doable. Her commentary is very encouraging. Music is great.. Get it you won’t regret it.

Love Barre Definition!!

I have been a subscriber for 6 months now and this is the first time that I have been able to stick to an exercise routine. It’s a great app, I love that there is a monthly schedule to follow which has made me work out 5-7 days a week. I actually see some results and I feel better. Action Jacquelyn seems to have a wonderful personality and it feels like working out with a friend. I also like that there is yoga and meditation.

Love the setup and content

I have just started using body definition and I love the simplicity of the workouts paired with the intensity. There is something for everyone! Thanks for helping with my decision making fatigue!

An easy YES to membership

this app is a God send to me. I was weight training multiple times a week and my nervous system was not coping well with that neither was my body. I have turned back to Pilates and go to a Barre studio and have seen amazing results. I went looking for an app that I could use at home or in the gym. I did the 7 day trial and was hooked. This app is EVERYTHING! I love how down to earth Jacquelyn is and the other trainers. There’s everything from pelvic floor help to daily workout plans, stretching, dancing and affirmation. Going into the app it feels so cosy and comforting and the workouts are challenging. You can mix up the workouts too. It’s so well thought out and convenient, thank you so much!! Worth every dollar!

Fantastic workout for all levels

I started with Gentle Definition. Two weeks in I am starting to see toning, and I am feeling stronger. I look forward to these workouts everyday! I can’t wait to see what I look like in 90 days and start the other challenges.

It’s meh…

I don’t like that there’s not just ONE workout per day. I want to just turn on one video and have at it and be done. The pdf tracking of your progress and assessment is lame and should be built into the app for the cost. I don’t want to keep track on a bunch of paper templates…the app should do it for me. The workout itself was fine but I can get the same thing for free on YouTube. The instructor is not that unique or effective so one is paying for the added functionality you can get in an app.

Doesn’t connect to Apple Health, not beginner friendly

iamastanduphumanbeing on

The simplest fix I’d ask for is that the app connect to Apple Health. Every other workout app I use has this as an option. I also wish there was a way to turn off pregnancy related workouts showing up in my feed, or at least to able to filter them out when searching. I think it is wonderful this app is meant for women, but womanhood does NOT equal having babies. Many women are unable (or even choose not) to become pregnant and it is incredibly triggering to keep seeing those workouts every single time I open the app. Finally, and I leave this last because it is most difficult to fix, many of the workouts that are described as being for beginners do not have modifications, clear instructions, or even a clear indication when one is moving from one position to another (unless one is watching the video when one is supposed to me folded, etc and not watching the video). And I wish I could leave private notes to myself on workouts. I hate being prompted to leave social media prompts-so crass. I think this app could be great, it really isn’t stellar right now due to what I just described above. I hope the designers decide to make modifications.

Best thing I’ve ever done for myself

Great app. Great exercises and workouts. What really stands out though is how positive and motivating she is. Just when you feel like you’re ready to give up, a word of encouragement is said at the right moment. I know it’s a video but I still feel like I’m right there in class :) Love every moment ❤️

Great app

Love it!

Overcharged on subscription - SCAM!

Lutz_of_love on

I signed up for the trial then monthly membership at $29/mo. I was enjoying it, then I checked my account and they charged me $100, with $29 more scheduled to come out again next month. Will that be another $100 as well? Deleting this app as it is clearly a scam.
