I was looking for an app that could capture the variety of lifestyle and nutrition factors that could be impacting my symptoms, which are a mix of neurological and gastrointestinal. Bearable lets me track everything I want and has the flexibility to add factors — then look at patterns between them and your symptoms. Really appreciate that, and the intuitive experience!!

Been struggling with chronic pain and found it hard to advocate for my health. This app is helping me to log so many different factors which I’m hoping will help me describe and show health professionals what I’m experiencing. Easy to use, easy to edit, colours to show severity of symptoms and easy charts to use. Highly recommend. Would love to see widgets and linking with medication in apple health but I thought premium as I found it so helpful!

I downloaded it, set up an account etc and then it said I could get 7 days free and after that it would be about £30/yr.

Been looking for a good free alternative to my fitness pal which I’ve used for years but has become extremely restrictive in the free version, ad after ad slowing it down, so frustrating (I have reviewed it to this effect), if you need to build a habit of recording your health data regularly it needs to be something that’s quick and easy on the go. So glad I found bearable, the free version just has so, so much more scope and is quick and user friendly with better insights. At last goodbye MFP, thank you bearable 🙏

i got this app bc i thought i should finally keep better tracks of my chronic pain after 8 years. i think it’s a pretty easy to use, well designed app and i’ve gotten into a routine using it. but it kind of defeats the purpose of having an app like this when i can’t even see all of the data i’ve been tracking. i know people need money to keep apps running but i shouldn’t have to get a £31 a year subscription to see how much physical pain im in on a daily basis

Really great for tracking physical and mental symptoms!

Having struggled with a very changeable auto-immune condition since my pre-teens, I have regularly been just “unwell” seemingly without rhyme or reason. Bearable lets me see the patterns (where there are patterns!) in my flare-ups or good spells and how they change with regard to what I’ve been doing or eating or feeling. It’s useful for me, but also for my medical team who’re working with me to find out if there are medications or procedures etc that can make things easier. As for feedback, being able to track “mild, moderate, severe, unbearable” is really useful, but I would appreciate a general guideline about what each of these represents. For example, I’m usually in pain somewhere, so (for example£ my baseline pain is a 4 out of 10, so I’d say “mild” is more of a 5-6. A friend recently however commented that their “mild” would be a 2 and their “moderate” would be a 5. Apparently most typically healthy people have a baseline of 0 pain 😂

The app keeps a track of all your symptoms, and over time may even help you figure out some things that make them worse or lessen them such as what your eating or drinking, the app is really enjoyable and I love starting my day by going on it

Useful for GERD symptoms

I’ve been using Bearable for about six months and it’s so useful for keeping track of symptoms and other variables. I track sleep, supplements and medication, activity, nutrition, caffeine etc. Slowly I’m becoming more adept at unlocking the insights on offer and noting apparent correlations. Really thorough; what is lacking is a proper approach for menstrual tracking.

I use it along with Visible, and aside from would love it if we could do shorter time periods, I’m so fond of this app. It really helps in some form of mindfulness that I know how to do, and it lets me be self obsessed about my health.
