Absolutely useless

Can’t even stream BBC Radio stations - nearly 99% of UK quality radio. Don’t waste your energy with this app

None of the BBC radio streams work, they all fail

Apart from the World Service but I don’t want to listen to that

When it works it’s great

This is a great little app when it works. Unfortunately I have suffered several stream fails and error messages @this stream is broken. We’ll let you know when it’s fixed “ I never get a fixed message. The alarm still goes off but with a default. If I wanted that I would have used the default and not downloaded this app. Frustrating.

I wouldn’t bother

It’s worked for me a couple of times and it was really good but it’s never worked since, too much of a temperamental app, which is not good when it’s an alarm app.

Radio stations no longer connect?

Update: a tonne of radio stations have stopped working. Almost every one I try has it’s own “this service is no longer in use” message playing on a loop?? Like one or two is a shame, but almost all of them makes the app near unusable. Please try and fix this! Previous review: Almost didn’t try this cause there’s one with more reviews but I’m glad I did. I assumed it wasn’t possible for an app to do what I wanted it to do- turn the phone on and start playing radio with ascending volume- because the others I tried couldn’t do that. But this one did! Even when my ringer was turned off it did exactly what I hoped it would. Only done tests so far so could be disappointed in the morning when I really need it to work but we’ll see. So far very impressed

Failed

Didn’t work this morning for no reason whatsoever. Unreliable. Made me late for work. I now remember why I deleted it a while ago. Deleted again now.

Unreliable

Nice idea, but ultimately useless. It only works less than half the time, and the backup sound never worked at all.

Not always working.

Beware that sometimes the app just decide to not run alarm so if you not wake up on time you are going to be late. Works few time but mostly no. Using Alexa from few weeks and She never let me down 🤪

What’s happened with BBC radio, then?

Link no longer working. I enjoyed this app, especially that the volume apples purely to the radio, but if it doesn’t link with my radio station of choice it is no longer fit for my purpose.

Only works intermittently & I can’t understand why

When it works it’s great, but I can’t figure out why I can choose for the alarm/radio to come on at a fixed time for days in a row only for it to actually activate for one or two of those days. You don’t seem to able to set and forget, as far as I can gather you have to set it each night regardless which hardly makes for a relaxing sleep when you don’t know if your alarm will actually go off the next morning
