Beeminder is an awesome innovative service that has helped me keep my business on track, get (another) degree, keep myself fit & my house clean, among many other things over the last decade. The app is basic but a useful interface that makes the service much easier to use, especially by making it easier to update your goals using Shortcuts.
My most important goals are tracked and encouraged through Beeminder. This app lets me see my progress and enter manual data. It reminds me of what I still need to make each day.
The app isn’t perfect but the service as a whole is incredibly valuable. I wouldn’t know what I’d do without it.
I don’t have a clue what the app is supposed to have because it only has placeholders. It’s not actually functional. ‘Enter your goal from slug’. Nothing appears. It tells you that there is nothing there and to go to the website instead. The only other feature is settings, which isn’t a feature at all, whereby you can sort goals but can’t create them, so there’s nothing to sort. There’s a search function but there’s nothing to search for. It has a time zone that you can’t change. You can turn notifications on or off and you can sign out. That’s it. I have no clue what the point is. I’ve never seen such a poor app. It actually makes Ed’s app look good!
The Beeminder website has always been excellent but unfortunately until recently the iOS app has been a bit clunky and unreliable. The latest update has fixed almost all the issues and is now a worthy companion to the excellent website. Looking forward to further updates in future.
Crashes all the time, no “done” button to quit the keyboard when entering values, graph takes ages to load... bad UI, worse UX
Does not work on iPhone 6 Plus =(
Seeing the attention to detail and downright love that has gone into the Beeminder website I would be surprised if this app is not developed aggressively.
