Beeper

It’s so refreshing to be able to open a single app and have all of my conversations in there. No more changing between apps to keep in touch with family and friends !

To start with, it’s productive to have all chats in one place. But then I discovered additional little things which make messaging so enjoyable. Like the archive feature, gives me that empty-inbox dopamine. Or the Low Priority inbox where I can stash all the cluttering group chats I’m in. Or I can send whatsapp messages to people without having to save their number in my address book - How annoying was that! The desktop client is also well designed with keyboard shortcuts, fast reactions. Sure, the app is not yet perfect, but the team behind seems driven and fast. So they will probably get there to being: The best chat app

Finally same whatsapp on two phones! On top, I like the productive features like “inbox” approach and Low Priority messages. App still needs some polishing e.g.UI, but in a very good state already

When I saw the email that I was in, I was thrilled and the app has become my favorite chat app. I would still like to be able to rename contacts and group chats for myself in the app. And I would like Discord channels to be added as group chats (which you can then rename for yourself). So Bepper, if you add these things the app is PERFECT! 👍

My Instagram account got suspended within a day of connecting it to this app, do not use it

So incredibly useful to have a tool that lets me use whatever messenger I want (or all of them) on whatever platform I want. It’s nice not being at the mercy of the whims and development pressures of 10 different messenger teams. If Beeper is there I’m connected with everyone. Keep it up!

I hooked up all my clients including discord, but after 2 days of use, I got an email saying they deleted my discord connection because they couldn’t handle the load. So I uninstalled. It’s not that great anyway.

The idea and mostly execution is amazing. However I can’t read any of my chats because a huge white screen comes above my keyboard blocking previous texts while typing. If I exit and chat and come back without clicking the keyboard, I can read the chats
