bit glitchy, but has helped me lower my time on my phone
only had the app for about two days, yesterday my notifications said i went over my limit and almost hit 7 hours. i lost a day on my streak too. however, the time displayed both on this app and on my actual settings app say i was on my phone for only 3 hours and 49 minutes. not sure why this is the case, but i love this app either way and its helped me be much more mindful of my time.
Be present
Be present is an amazing app for limiting your screen time and is better than normal screen time apps for many reasons. Number one you can challenge your friends to a leaderboard and see who got more points and who won. The last reason is because every day you get points and with the points you can buy things like audio books, workouts, app memberships and many more.
The UI is too big
Everything is like zoomed in so a lot of the text and buttons are getting cut off on the side and I can’t read what it says so I can’t really navigate the app at all
App doesn’t keep track
Got this app for one reason: to help me reduce my screen time. It worked fine for a while but hasn’t worked for over a month.
When you ask the Beta assistant it simply repeats itself with no solution nor any update. So for me this app is a total failure.
I feel more present
I feel like this app just makes me able to have my own thoughts. Like I’m not constantly having something to do and it’s starting to make me better myself by thinking in ways I wouldn’t have before.

I love this!!!
Reduced my screen time and fixed my adhd
This App Is A Game Changer! So helpful!
I use this app daily and I’ve got to say, it’s a beautiful concept. I’ve noticed that my screen time has dropped dramatically thanks to the hourly reminders! One of my favorite parts of the app is the calculator that shows you how much time you’re getting back across your lifetime by saving X hours per day. It really puts how much time we waste into perspective and reminds me of why I wanted to make it a point to be more present to my surroundings instead of my phone. I liked this app so much that I reached out to the founders to understand their mission, and they care so much about the user experience and getting people less dependent on their phones. We need more apps like this one in the world! Thank you Jack and Charles for bringing such a wonderful idea to life! Cheers
Great app
I loved the app and the concept because there are many apps out there with the same goal but I like the idea of blocking sessions and accountability partners. However, I tried to get my son to use the app on his iPad and we spent twenty minutes on the step allowing the app to access Screen Time. We never got it to work even after shutting down the iPad, closing the app, and redownloading it.
Thought it would be more painful.
This is the first thing I’ve used and stuck with. I like the tips. It’s definitely made me more mindful of my time in a good way.
