Unfortunately, the lack of an undo or redo feature means this app is unusable for me as a note taking app. This may not be an issue on desktop or if Cntrl+Z is available, however this unfortunately is not the case on Ipad. If there is such a feature on Better Notes that I have somehow missed then please inform me & I shall update my review accordingly.
This is a great app because of how simple it is! You open it write your note and boom done! And if you feel like you need a bit of organisation the #tagging system is so perfect! I love this and it’s so useful for jotting down writing ideas, appointment information and any other info I need to get down on a page quickly! I’ve had it for ages and tried heaps of different note taking apps but I keep coming back to Better lol. Thanks for all the hard work on this app!
It’s good but needs passcode lock. Someone requested it 6 years ago and they haven’t implemented it yet, but one can hope.
I can jot things down as I think of them, but since there are hash tags, I can still organise them! It has replaced all my phone notebooks.
The only thing missing from this excellent app is syncing via iCloud. Would be 5 stars if it did that.
If this app would sync with other devices (i.e. via iCloud) then it would be perfect
What a great addition to the App Store. The normal Apple notes app is similar to this but more clunky and full. This app redesigns that and allows for a more clean, sleek look with a majority of the normal functions of the normal Apple app. To do this, the app had to sacrifice some nice features from the Apple app, such as Bold, Italic or Underline fonts, adding recordings, adding different settings for fonts (Title form, Normal Text form) and there's not drawing option in this app. While there are some sacrifices, users are rewarded with an easy, minimalistic note-taking app that works well. 4/5 stars.
So simple and easy to use, i love it. One problem I encountered was how the notes don't remember what i've checked off when I leave the app and so when I enter it, my todo lists that I initially ticked aren't checked. Aside from that, a neat notetaking app, I use it daily.
Very good app, really convenient, hashtag feature is good. Use it all the time.
Good, but not five stars yet until it can import Apple notes and be locked with a passcode. Then it will truly shine. 👊
