Yes, BevMo! is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is BevMo! legit?
⚠️ The BevMo! app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Idk what happened with this latest update but all my favorites are gone, I have to constantly login and the search doesn’t work well. The app seems pretty useless for me now. With my favorites being gone from the app, I just go across town to Total Wine and pick up from their. I had my favorites mirrored in that app and depending on my laziness, would order from BevMo or Total Wine. It’s easier to stick w Total Wine now. I have all my items and favorites in the app and their prices are not nearly as high. Total Wine for the win.
mostly works, but has issues.
the app will not let me add a tip and I don’t carry cash.
search is wonky at best.
don’t outsource your tech to the lowest common bidders. look at all of the negative reviews. most people give an app only one chance.
lastly, the $10 delivery fee is a bit steep. by the time you add that in plus tip, i might as well go to my local liquor store. where do you want me and others to go?
the app and process could be improved upon immensely which would raise revenue significantly.

How many times do I have to log in? Change password?
Incompatible with IOS, who knows about Android.
This app does everything possible to make it a bad experience
I mentioned that to an employee today and was told I’m surprised we have any customers after they use the app.
Lousy app doesn’t work
Ordering works ok.
I’ve only been able to pick up at curbside at curbside twice out of two dozen times.
Won’t let me check in.
Postal code?
On a desktop and through the app, it tells me "Sorry we cannot find the tax rates based on your postal code." Not sure where to fix this issue or why it can't find a tax rate for a store it lists in the website. Either way, I now can't order ahead to have items ready to pickup when I get to the store.
Horrific Response Time
This app takes forever to load, and the rewards just plain stop and never load. I have to go to the web to get any rewards info. Super waste of time!
Medium convenience; bush league UI/UX
This app has two baffling flaws: 1) No ability to filter based on whether items are in stock; 2) Search is case sensitive so the app gives zero results for “Whiskey,” for instance, but will show actual results for “whiskey.”
iPhones capitalize the first word in a search or sentence by default. Why would anyone design the app this way

Terrible app experience - please fix it
Easy enough to add items to your cart, but it never lets you apply promo codes and when you try to purchase it either spins or errors out completely. Website is useless for trying to place orders, so I resort to adding to my cart on the app then going to the website to purchase. Horrible experience. If BevMo wasn’t so conveniently located on my way home I’d just go elsewhere.
Useless
You think if you’re going to require a Forter Token to complete a purchase, you would want to advise your customers what that is and how to get it? I’m deleting this app now. I guess my local liquor store will be getting more business.
