I bought this app as check drive train warning message appeared after months of short in town journeys. App showed dpf was excessively blocked. went for a drive on motorway and app showed regen was working normally. soot went from 38grams to 9 grams. now need to see if error reoccurs. very happy and appears idiot proof so i cannot kill my car by selecting wrong values.
Although my car is compatible, the team initially directed me to the online manual. Pushing back, some troubleshooting was conducted but the application just doesn’t load my vehicle.
Bought and paid for full version of BimmerCode in February 2024, used it back then and all was fine, went to use it again in January 2025..wants me to pay £49.99 for something I already paid for. Not happy
The app is actually £49.99 and will not work if there are any errors on modules. If there are, you’ll need bimmerLINK which is another £39.99… It also states works with all F chassis so bought correct adapter and it doesn’t work on an F40 or F44. Managed to access BDC on one temporarily but wouldn’t go any further. Asked support for a refund and they said as I’d gone on the BDC they won’t - directly contradicting the apparent money back guarantee. Also concerning that the devs log every change you make. Will be doing chargeback via bank and reporting to advertising standards rgd the money back guarantee
Car play disconnect your app
Great app thank you, brought new life to my car. A useful feature would be if the app memorised all options for my car when I first connected. I could browse and adjust those settings offline and sync the updates when I reconnected. Keep up the great work.
I am finding it to be a very discouraging experience, as it displays some data privacy concerns
Found the BrimmerCode app very easy to use. Auto stop start disabled as the default on engine start up with no issues. Having never used an OBD Bluetooth device and coding app before it could not have been simpler to understand and do.
Vgate Icar pro cannot read all modules even if it’s recommended by bimmercode..
