Graphisoft’s BIMx is an interactive app for exploring BIM projects and linked documentation sets created in Archicad and DDScad. Please download to visualize or collaborate on architectural design projects on your mobile device(s).
BIMx offers professional building visualization with game-like navigation to explore and visualize architectural projects. BIMx features the ‘BIMx hyper-model’ – allowing non-design professionals to explore and fully understand architectural design intent, view project deliverables, and access element-level BIM data. BIMx links the 3D model with the relevant 2D documentation layouts, providing a seamless way to view the 3D cutaway model in the context of a 2D layout — and vice versa.
BIMx connects the construction site with the architect’s office for streamlined collaboration. Real-time model cut-throughs, in-context measuring, and project markups in the model context make BIMx your best on-site BIM companion. No longer able to open files on iPhone
The new version just doesn’t seem to work on my iPhone 8 Great app replaced with non functioning version.
Ignore the early reviews - this is very clever
Ignore the early reviews of this app as they’ve missed the whole point of the app - its not to CREATE anything, its to VIEW models built by others. If you want an app for others to view your ArchiCAD models, without any sort of technical expertise or training, this is an awesome tool. I am an architect and my clients crave this sort of ability to interact with models. Unfortunately I use Vectorworks as a CAD package so this app is of little use, but it’s inspiring. For ArchiCAD users, I can see many benefits of this app.

As someone who has been involved with architectural design for over 50 years I believe this app allows those designers who use ArchiCAD an amazing way to show clients their projects in detailed 3D.

This app is worth getting. Although it Doesn't let you see the blue prints free. You can look around the amazing Buildings though which is great For amusement!☺️

Just an advert to promote the app version you have to pay. To pay for a viewer is incredible, even more for a double figure number!
