Not working on ios18
After upgrading to ios 18, the message “an error has occurred” keeps popping up all over the place.
New version (2024.09) is broken
Getting multiple unhelpful “an error has occurred” error messages and am unable to login
2024.9.2 still cannot copy specific text in secure notes
Before, we can copy specific text by pressing and holding to select anything in notes under login or in secure notes without having to press Edit. Now even in edit mode, in secure notes, when i longpress certain text, it just scrolls up and won't let me copy. This is such a pain because secure notes are not just one line and I can no longer select a specific part of a line to copy anymore. Please fix it and the scrolling issue.
Totally Broken app now, previous workflow broken on iOS 15 & 16 & 17 for over 12 months with no fix
On iOS 14, Bitwarden works perfectly for both safari browser and app login if you have multiple accounts. Tap on login field > suggested account appears on the iOS keyboard > tap on the key icon > select desired account for login > Face ID authentication > login credentials filled up On iOS 15/16/17, Bitwarden still works fine for safari browser but the workflow is now broken for app login if you have multiple accounts. Tap on login field > suggested account appears on the iOS keyboard > tap on the key icon > Face ID authentication > select desired account for login > login credentials filled up Not sure if it’s related to the broken workflow on iOS 15/16/17 but in addition, the URI detection is also not working now for some apps despite having the correct URL (the same URL is able to be detected when using safari browser). The workaround to the issues above is to enable auto filling for both Bitwarden and Keychain under Settings > Passwords > AutoFill Passwords. But with this workaround, there will always be a prompt from Keychain to save password after each successful app login using Bitwarden and you will have to click on ‘Not Now’. Such a shame because it used to be working perfectly. I have previously contacted Bitwarden more than a month ago and went through many rounds of emails with very detailed explanation but in the end I was asked to post it at their community forums, with no guarantee that it will be picked up by the technical team to be resolved. The updates in Sep, Oct, Nov 2022, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jul, Aug, Sep 2023 (latest version 2023.9.0) did nothing to fix the issue either! Updated iOS software to 16.6.1 and subsequently to 17.0 and it still broken as of 21 Sep 2023. Updated iOS software to 17.1.1 and app to 2023.10.0 but still not fixed in Nov 2023. Updated iOS software to 17.7 and app to 2024.8.1 on 17/09/24 and it’s even worse than before. Autofill is broken for Safari browser and 3rd party apps. Face ID authentication is also broken as well have have to manually enter PIN for each login attempt. Horrible, nothing works anymore and it doesn’t even surf the basic function of a password manager to fill passwords.
A number of bugs
Couldn’t copy text in secure notes because it will keep scrolling to the bottom. Couldn’t change accounts because the listing is covered by the search input.
Cannot edit NOTES
I cannot edit long texts saved in NOTES under Login. The cursor moved to bottom automatically and then disappeared regardless of where I place it. Please fix it.
Unable to log in with app after last update on 5/9/24
I’m unable to log in to the iPhone app after the last update on 5/9/24. Error message on my master password. But I am able to login to the online Bitwarden site. The update is supposed to improve the experience but it log me out of the app. No idea how to get help as it just links me to the website.
Great work on the redesign!
