Description

Blackjack Apprenticeship's "Blackjack & Card Counting Trainer Pro" is the best way to master card counting so you can bring down the house! Blackjack Apprenticeship trains card counters who have legally beaten casinos for millions with the same skills learned in this app!
******** Featured in: New York Times, CNN, ABC World News, Good Morning America, The Colbert Report, Huffington Post ********
Introducing the Blackjack trainer created and developed by Professional Blackjack players. Blackjackapprenticeship.com is the authority on teaching you how to play Blackjack like the pros. With over a decade of combined experience and millions of dollars won, the Pros here can help you take your game from amateur gambler, to winning professional.
Perhaps you just watched the movie “21”, or you’ve read “Bringing Down the House”, you are ready to take your Blackjack game to the next level. This is where Blackjack Trainer Pro comes in to help you up your game - without being an MIT student.
Blackjack Trainer Pro works hand in hand with Blackjackapprenticeship.com. We teach you step-by-step instruction on how to get the advantage over the house.
We don’t give you multiple counting methods here because you only need one: HiLo. We help you hone one counting system and use it to its fullest potential. Be an expert, not a “Jack of all systems.” That is the difference between a gambler and a winner.
Blackjack Trainer Pro helps you keep the Running count, shows you the True Count and guides you if you make a Basic Strategy or Deviation mistake. We want you to be on top of your game when you go into the casino. Practice at home, then run through a few shoes in your hotel room before hitting the tables to freshen up.
******** FEATURES ********
* Basic Strategy – Build your blackjack foundation
* Learn HiLo – the most efficient yet powerful card counting system known today

Maybe I’m not seeing this, but is there an option to turn on what the current count is when playing the training mode? This seems like an obvious thing for this app and can’t imagine it’s not in the settings somewhere. Part of learning and raising bets when the deck has a high count is confirming it against what app says count is - it’s part of learning. If it’s not an option, why? People who are paying for this app are wanting to improve their counting skills. Not being able to see what the count is compared to what you have in your head makes learning nearly impossible. If this is not an option, could you please add. Otherwise, this is nothing more than a normal blackjack app with the only training being a box that pops up if you play something incorrectly… Like every other blackjack app. Hopefully I’m missing this option but calling this a card counting training app because you’ve included a couple of links to videos on YouTube doesn’t qualify. There are thousands of these videos on YouTube and they don’t cost $4.99 to watch.

Massively helpful

This app has been incredibly helpful in so many ways. Can’t say enough good things about it. Was just wondering if the devs could possibly add sound as an option in a future update?

Gestures I have to leave the game to re-look at the gestures it restarts my game.

Why isn’t there a button I can hit to show me jesters the last I just can’t find it. I have to go back in to home and then when I go back to the game, it starts over again from the beginning

Add a feature for the count

Good app for practice but would be great if you showed the card history during the drill off to the side or bottom and then added a +/- value to the side letting the user know how the count was affected during the drill.

This app has really helped me through my card counting career in blackjack and helped me learn basic strategy in two days

Doesn’t teach you how to count cards but shows you basic strategies

I like it, but would love to see more!

I have logged a couple hours in this app. I have really enjoyed it and paid the 99 cents for the extra feature. I know it’s a small team who built this and I didn’t mind shelling out the extra dollar. The running count “speed counting” drill is great! I would love to see more of this kind of stuff in the app. For the basic “Training” drill I would like to be able to check the running count. Learning how to count cards, I forget the running count a lot. And that makes it impossible to get a true count. A more experienced player may not have these issues. But a newbie like me would really benefit from an optional feature that would provide a running count in basic training. It would also be cool to have more data after each shoe. Currently it just shuffles at the end of the shoe. I think it would be helpful to see some analytics of my play. Overall, this app does what it says it does. It’s a great blackjack app in general. And you don’t have to suffer through ads like other apps. You can change the deck count and I enjoy that. It feels a lot more genuine to play than any other BJ on the App Store. I would recommend to anyone looking to understand the game of 21 at a deeper level. Or a casual player who wants to escape the ads and learn simple basic strategy.

Great app

Everything your looking for to learn to play and count the only reason it is 4 star instead of 5 is I can’t figure out if you can change dealer speed again after initially choosing a certain speed, if dealer speed can be adjusted at will or before game this is 5 starts all day

Pretty Good

Overall has everything you need. Great value for the price. I’d like to offer some enhancement ideas, in priority order: 1) Add a prompt so when you accidentally hit ‘End Drill’ it won’t kill the session immediately. I’ve lost many positive counts that way. 2) Would be nice to have a slicker way to lower bets, such as a minus button under each chip icon, instead of clear all and re-enter. 3) Allow user to set the starting bankroll.

User friendly?

Mickey D on the Mic on

Not very user friendly. The cards are dealt, but it appears only 1 of 2 decks are used? Again, it isn’t completely user friendly.
