I’m actually very surprised at how well made this app is. Very easy to use and helpful. It could have a few extra features, but overall worth $5
Since getting this app a few months ago, my blackjack game has massively improved to the point where I feel comfortable counting in the casino. Every chart you need for memorizing basic strategy and deviations is on here. The speed counting drill is extremely helpful. This app is everything you need to count cards. One improvement I suggest is that there should be a setting to be able to “front load” the shoe, so that we are able to practice our positive count deviations without having to wait for the perfect shoe.
First of all - great app for realistic BJ. If you want to learn basic strategy and counting, also great. Two suggestions - with the Dynamic Island the dealer hand count is blocked off, I’d like to be able to see the actual total of the dealer hand. Really the graphics just need to be pushed down a little. Also, if the app could have a custom bankroll starting amount that would be great too. Not everyone has $10k to simulate ;)
I did okay but every time I bet higher, the dealer “magically” gets a blackjack or 20, sometimes three in a row! I deleted this app, it appears rigged. Waste of time.
Running count…. Is almost like breathing now.💨
It is a good basic trainer. Would be good to have it display the true count at the end of each hand in the betting pop up so that we can test our counting and think about how our bet should change. Right now the count only shows up when you make a bad decision.
Before purchasing this app, I read some reviews. I was really impressed with the responses, and was even more impressed when I purchased the app and saw all the improvements the developers had implemented. I like that the team listens to what their uses have to say and try to work them into updates if possible.
I love the majority of the app. Everything works smoothly, high-quality app, nice settings, and gestures. Only thing I would add is some sound to the app and maybe an option to play more than two hands other than that love it and it really helps me practice my basic strategy And I love the option to be able to practice card counting separately
Maybe I’m not seeing this, but is there an option to turn on what the current count is when playing the training mode? This seems like an obvious thing for this app and can’t imagine it’s not in the settings somewhere. Part of learning and raising bets when the deck has a high count is confirming it against what app says count is - it’s part of learning. If it’s not an option, why? People who are paying for this app are wanting to improve their counting skills. Not being able to see what the count is compared to what you have in your head makes learning nearly impossible. If this is not an option, could you please add. Otherwise, this is nothing more than a normal blackjack app with the only training being a box that pops up if you play something incorrectly… Like every other blackjack app. Hopefully I’m missing this option but calling this a card counting training app because you’ve included a couple of links to videos on YouTube doesn’t qualify. There are thousands of these videos on YouTube and they don’t cost $4.99 to watch.
