AMAZING it does what it says !!!
Amazing app RHABK YOU
Omg it works!!
It’s first quarter 2023 and YT is pushing shorts HARD. My subscription feed is 80% shorts, and with one tap they just all disappeared! Best couple bucks I’ve spent this year. I don’t know how long it’ll take for shorts to fail and disappear, but until they do this extension is AMAZING.
Great value for money.
An extension that does as promised. Lets you turn off the parts of YouTube you don’t want (recommendations, shorts, home page, comments, like/dislike) in Safari. Love that it’s a one-time paid app that doesn’t harvest your data to sell to advertisers. Solid value for money. Prevents you from wasting too much time on YouTube.

This extensions works like a charm. I deleted the YouTube app, as it’s too easy to get sucked down a rabbit hole. I can’t cut YouTube out of my life completely though, and whenever I’d watch a video on Safari I’d find myself getting sucked in again! YouTube is designed to be addictive, and this extension helped me make it less so. I strongly encourage others to get extensions like it for all their browsers (phone and computer).
Good app but just one problem
This app succeeded in blocking out the YT shorts for me however, there was also an option in the app that would block out the comments sections of videos for me and that’s where the problem is. Comment sections are as equal of a problem as shorts are. The app is unable to block the comment sections out despite checking if everything is in place and refreshing the pages over and over again. Please fix the comment section problem for me.
Does not work
Google likely modified the YouTube website so now it blocks all videos on the main feed from showing. You can see videos under subscriptions, but shorts show up so it’s not doing anything there. If you click the shorts tab at the bottom shorts play, but that’s not really a downside. The problem is it doesn’t do anything to block shorts. The best I can tell it only blocks the home feed completely but nothing else changes.

I’m still seeing comments, side bar clutter and recommendations.

Doesn’t work in the App
Does this work in the YouTube app or only in safari browser? If so, it’s not working for me at all. Still see recommendations and shorts after following installation instructions in the app :(
