Can’t register
Firstly, i started using BlueSG since 2019 but not on regular basis. Since 1 year ago, whenever i open the app to search for available cars, it would show a map without any stations. I then learnt on social media and chat groups that i need to uninstall and reinstall this app for it to work properly. Secondly, there is a risk of car and parking reservations being cancelled. Imagine having reserved a car and found out it got cancelled while walking to the carpark. There was once i drove for 30 minutes to the other end of the island and saw my parking reservation mysteriously disappeared when i was just a minute away from destination. I then had to frantically make another parking reservation which was located minutes away from where i originally planned to end my rental. Finally, bugs from the recent (or not so recent from Dec 2023) upgrade screwed up big time. Cards were recognised by the car card reader but not the charging terminal, therefore making it challenging for users to end rental. If I wasn’t careful to check the app while walking out of the carpark, the rental time could have continued running despite having adhered to the end rental procedure of plugged in charger and locked car.
Out of 10 time using this BlueSG app, only 1 time works properly. After the the transition of the server data, this app become paralyzed, always malfunction. Very disappointing. Just like today when I want to book a car. On the map it doesn’t shown any car for selection, not even the green dots that displays as usual.
Too many times when I've reserved a car then when reached a station there wasn't any available car. Either that or the rental gets stuck on loading and when I restart the app the car becomes unavailable. Wayyy to unreliable to recommend. If you cut ignition in a carpark with unreliable connection while intending to continue rental then good luck trying to drive the car out. They will charge you until they can tow the car out.
No wonder the rating so bad. The customer support is worse I ever encountered.
My goodness what happened here? App used to be so easy to use. But nowadays I just encounter so many issues: a) once I took 3 attempts to successfully return a car, b) reserve a car, turn up at the lot, either found no car or a car with diff plate number c) lag and error msg are super common d) cust service easily takes 30-45min+ before they answer my call
Need to delete and reinstall app every time I use it, if not it will not show the stations. Please get wake up and get your stuff right. You are running a business!
Terminating the subscription is a complicated process
The app has money costing GLITCHES. Reversed the only car available at the nearest port to me. Walked 18mins over, tried to unlock but couldn’t. Apparently the only car there is not the same as the one I reserve on the app (although it shows the same location and port). Obviously the app screwed up so I decided to call their customer service (note that the rental was still ongoing and I’m being timed). Took them almost 20minutes to answer the phone. The person on the line couldn’t speak properly and answer my questions properly. Kept stuttering. Basically told me that he will end the rental and cause the vehicle didn’t move, there will be no charge. However, I saw that I was being charged $6. And then I asked this exact sentence after being unable to get a straight answer “so basically, what you are saying is that BLUESG is not going to compensate for my time that is being wasted due to the fault on their end. That’s 30minutes worth)” and he replied “YES” and that’s all. The call started on 25/03/2024 at 1824hrs for the company’s reference. So not only we pay when we get into an accident but also pay for their poor maintainence and their poor app issues. Please, all these should be fixed especially when the prices are increasing.
Specially went down to the reserved station which was pretty far away, just to find that there was no car actually available to book. When calling customer service, they could only blame it on system migration. When can this system migration be done so that the app can actually work?
