It cuts off the top and bottom of the board, it doesn’t fit the app page properly on iPhone and I have to tap the edit far too many times to edit then it still chops it off. The board is great, the app is garbage. I needed to keep my notes so board is useless to me without decent functionality of the app. Get some help with the app and it will be an amazing product!
I have never written a review or felt the need but this app is ridiculous... it’s redundant I don’t understand the point?.. if I have my phone to scan the boogie board why wouldn’t I just write it somewhere on my phone in the first place... or even take a pic why all the trouble (yes trouble) with scan.. if I could rate with half star I would sorry guys but there’s better tech than this....
Scan takes ages and all it does is revert colors basically.

There is nothing smart about this product. What they have sold is a black magnetic board with a clumsy pen and a scanning function that actually can’t decipher the writing it was designed to read. This is a dud.

On iPhone X it’s now always crashing after a scan and save. Fortunately data is safe but a very poor user experience given the coolness of the boogie board itself. Also trying to detect a Jot... you serious you need to put next to high contrast background!? Guys get into Machine Learning and seriously improve the capture speed, I look like an idiot trying to scan and capture just to meet the apps criteria. Software should work for me, not the other way around.

When you draw a black line or highlight in yellow you cannot save the changes. The tick does nothing and closing the images loses your changes.
You can use it for any of LCD writing tablets you ordered from Amazon! Not only Jot Boogie Board tablets. I learned some tricks with this app from YouTube!
