Alright reader, but can use some work
Doesn’t look like you can sync the iOS app bookshelf organization to the online reader bookshelf. If I make a bookshelf to organize manga on the app, I have to manually replicate it on the online reader. The store section of the app doesn’t serve much purpose if you can’t buy the books through the app. If you can’t buy manga through the store portion of the app, it would be nice if it at least had a hyperlink to the online webpage for the book to then purchase it.
Very good service, but the recent update messed things up.
I’m a reader who lives in NA and use the Japanese store. Up until recently the app provides in-app jp store function, but the recent update made the app’s in-app store English only. I understand that this is the English app so it would make sense that the English storefront be the default option, but I’d appreciate an option to toggle between the 2. Update: thank you for responding to this. To be fair it is just a convenience feature for people like me, but the larger EN audience will benefit from your recent change. Still, I hope there exists a function that allows me to toggle in app jp store back on.
Another unstable update
Dont update :( Keeps crashing… terrible app. Terrible support.
Not too many issues but
Sometimes while reading manga, already downloaded sections will have to load or dont load at all, requiring the app to restart. And for the love of anime please add a scrolling option to light novels.
This sucks!!
First of all if you live in Canada don’t even think about trying it cause it doesn’t allow you to use it and second it’s one of the most confusing thing I’ve ever done and it all lead up to nothing (because of the Canada thing) but seriously you have to go through email after email after email and it’s nuts
Hard to read
There are two fonts to choose from: System fonts which the OS does not use, and App fonts which the app does not use. Both of them are suitable for paper but too thin and hard to read on screen. The page slide is very good though, smooth for regular pages and unrestrictive for double pages.

まともに読めない本がある
他社電子書籍サービスでは読めるのに、Bookwalkerでだけ読めない本がある。 あらゆるデバイスで試したが全ての環境で不具合が再現される。サポートも不具合があると認めているにも関わらず、出版社の対応待ちと1年半以上放置され、返金にも応じてくれない。 さらに酷いことに読めない本はそのまま現在も販売されている。 追記:Bookwalkerさんからの回答を拝見しました。 「作品における収録内容および作品の制作は出版社にて管理されております。 あいにく、弊社では詳細についてお答えできかねる状況」 とありますが、御社を通じて配信、販売された書籍が読めないことに対して、私のような1ユーザーが出来ることは御社に問い合わせることだけだと思います。 それに対して長期間読めないまま放置された挙句、まともに返金に応じていただけないのが残念だと述べているだけです。
電波の悪い所だと
通勤中に利用することが多いのですが、通信頻度が多いのかコントロールセンター開くだけで通信中になり電波が悪いと見れなくなるのが困る。 たまに読んでたところ保存されてない。 それ以外は⭕️
