i got scammed
i tried to access a book, it told me to register, so i did, then it offered me the full (paid) version of the app which i rejected, then tried to offer me trial version which i rejected again. to even open the book, i had to watch a 30sec unskippadle ad, which, alright, i survived but when i got to read the first chapter, it got even weirder. it seemed like an introduction chapter because it was written in a 3d person and was just a general vague description of the book. i looked if i can skip to other chapters or if i have to watch an ad again but thankfully it let me. but what i found out horrified me. all the chapters were esentially the same and with no doubt WRITTEN BY CHATGPT. someone just inserted the names of the chapters into ai and told it to write a summary of each one. extremely disappointed. expected a shady app and tons of ads but not this. at least it was so hilarious to me that someone even did this which propted me to write a review. this is i think my first time writing a review on appstore. that’s how shocking this app is. if you want to giggle at ai written books that you never expected, try this. it’s supposed to be like self-care and personal development books but for some reason it has real non-fiction and biographies in it. give it a go but don’t give up your data. only register with icloud with the option to hide your email. anyways thanks for making me giggle i won’t come back again. cheers!
