Looks pretty but absolutely riddled with bugs.

I couldn’t sign in to it kept on crashing.

I really love this app! It’s super sleek and really easy to use and I really love the features of it - the deva have clearly thought about what book communities need and have found a way to integrate it all. I wish that there was a way to stay logged in so that I didn’t have to log in each time (like a website rather than an app like facebook) and that the search function was a little more refined and you were able to stay on the search page without having to exit and research each time. Aside from that I love this app, it’s really helped me feel connected to other readers and I can’t wait for more to join!

I love this app - one of my favourite features is that you can say what you liked about an individual book (e.g. plot, writing style, characters) and then see recommendations for other books that people also say had a good writing style etc. I also really like the challenges as well! I only have one point for improvement - some of the challenges aren’t marked as complete when you read a certain book, for example I just read The Handmaid’s Tale but my challenge page hasn’t updated to show that. I love the feature in general though and I can’t wait to see how the app develops even more with time!

Considering this app is still being developed, I’m blown away by how much I enjoy using it over GoodReads. Great recommendations and curated lists, and I like the gamified elements with the badges!!

So I’m here to counter the two negative-ish reviews that are showing up to everyone on the App Store. This is a great app to have if you enjoy reading books. There are categories to help you find your next favourite book. These categories range from things like fantasies or thrillers to Latina of black lives matters books. There is a new releases tab which is SUPER useful to browse through. There are awards and badges, challenges for each month and a whole community section which is like a feed. You can also separate it into things like ‘ask’ or ‘challenge’. Furthermore, if you wanted something that was not Goodreads then you need to support this app. It’s been coming on for the last few years and it’s run by three people. Yep, just three. Like any new digital idea or project, there are bugs and issues but the engineer in charge is on it so chill! I’m telling you now, in 12 months, everyone gonna be on this app. Follow them on twitter and spread the word! ✌️

I don’t find goodreads that easy to use so I was quite happy to see an alternative. After using the app for a few days are two things I would like to see improved. I would like to be able to see and adjust how a profile photo will look before changing it as well as a “bio” feature. Other than that it’s a great app
