The Barcode Scanning function works really efficiently. The app is missing the feature of adding new collections. However that can easily be accomplished thorough the web interface. That is the only shortcoming, because it eliminates being able to use the service entirely through the phone. Other than than, well done to the team at LibraryThing.
I can’t see how this app is of much used to me. I’ve looked up an author whose books I’m halfway through yet most of them are not listed and I can’t see a way to add the missing ones them. Moreover it keeps giving me a duplicate duplicate copy label and there is no help to tell me what this is all about.
I really like this app - it’s a case of ‘the more you use it , the better it is’ but many of my books are old without any ISBN or other digital identifications. How can these Best regards added to my library - but it is a very good app
This app is great, scanner works lovely. I really like how you can sort by author and add your own covers for books! However, I really wish you could make your own collections.
This is great for recording what books you have, especially if you lend lots. What it doesn’t do but I wish it did was to have a section where you can say who you’ve lent the book to. That would be amazing!
Firstly, love the app and I would give it 5 stars if it had the ability for you to add your own notes about a book. Short synopsis, and if you enjoyed the book or not.

I just got this app recently and I think it’s great to catalogue your private book collection. It’s very easy to use and the screens have been kept simple and clean, no clutter However 2 things that I believe would improve the app would be: 1. Ability to create your own collection index. The app has 5-6 categories but I would like to be able to group my books by categories such as Fiction, Non-Fiction, Romantic, Travel, Horror, etc 2. I have books that don’t have ISBN codes so I’m unable to add those. Any chance that the app could cater for adding books manually if needed like in this case? Thanks and to the development team ‘great work’
