Best EV charging stations I ever had.

Always out of order and it’s says 150 kw but only give you 20kw

They make you top-up before charging and don’t refund you when their charger doesn’t work. It kept saying ‘error’ everytime I plugged it in and my car connection light flashed red. There was no signs or indication the pump wasn’t working. It was ‘available’ in the bp pulse and zap map Had to go to another station in the end, but spent £40 on nothing and no response when I asked for this to be refunded.

The bp app itself is great overall. Easy to navigate.easy to find your charger and activate it. However, recently I have been opening the app to activate a charge, only to find it’s somehow logged me out and requires me to go through authentication to log back in. This usually takes around 5 mins of faffing, and eventually I get in and continue activating my charge. It’s infuriating. Especially when you are short on time. If I’m logged in, I expect to be logged in, if the device I’m using is secure. I see no reason why authentication has to now be every single time I open the app. Hence the 1 star.

Had this app since December when I went electric and the app stayed logged in for all of a week then logged me out and since then I can’t get back into it, asked for help over the phone and they tell me they will send me a email I respond to the email like asked and no response at a loss of what to do next

Frustrating to use this app as often get logged out, and the login is janky and painful. It requires receiving an email with a magic link. This sends you to the browser which shows a pop-up and redirects to the app. The app then usually crashes. Great. I have a password - just give me a regular login screen! I also suspect you are trying to load lots of spyware/telemetry libraries in the app as it basically doesn’t work on my home WiFi where I block trackers quite aggressively.

If I want to invest in bppulse , I could give you a loan for a decent interest rate in return. Or I could invest, at some risk , and buy shares in your business. Taking my money and giving nothing in return is theft. How do I get my money back?

It’s Extortionately expensive to use the public charging network and BP Pulse are no different, with the added kick that they ask for credit and hold on the the balance. That’s like going to a petrol pump and paying £30 in advance, then only putting in £10 of Fuel, then the petrol garage holding onto the rest for future purchases, without having a refund option??
