Brewguide is THE reason I got this scale. I built out my brew and saved it. Crash. Tried to edit the saved brew. Crash. Want to delete it. Crash. Help? Well, at least I know why it crashes. The app allows editing some fields like Brewer, that are also offered as an enumeration (where you pick one). If you edit the fields, the app crashes when you try to load the recipe. This is bad, but the recipes cannot be deleted, which is worse.

The functionality of the brew guide on the device is nil if I can’t change it to better suit my coffees. Are there other recipes coming or maybe general regional brew recommendations? Just seems silly to have wasted the money for functions that are essentially useless.

You can set customizations all day long, but there’s no way to apply them to the scale.

I like the idea of this but it hasn’t been updated with other brewing methods it’s seems like in quite a while. It disconnects often even when right next to my scale.

Love the scale you need to add an IPad version and maybe combine all the apps into one

Super convenient for getting brews down and under your hands. Prefer the level three guides.

There are some recipes to get started, but I like the option to create my own, and just duplicate one of the recommended, do my changes, and save it as my own. Thank you Acaia for making this so easy!

Some app developers think everyone uses their smartphone for everything. This app is thus designed for such and is profile view only, no landscape more suitable for iPads and PC’s. Sorry, diddling on a little screen is not my idea of fun or life.

This app is great for finding new recipes and uploading your own recipes to your scale! It’s also a great tool for learning how to use your Pearl model S. The tutorial videos are awesome!

First of all, please combine all your apps. I don’t want 5 separate apps. Second, it needs to be easier to find recipes. There’s no apparent way to just browse everything that’s available. You have to know exactly what to search for. Also get more guides on there. Maybe reach out to brewers for recipes.
