The Acaia Pearl S pairs with all of our apps but this is the one to use to set up the scale. If you don’t have a Pearl S, you can still browse and create recipes. Crash. Want to delete it. Crash. Help? Well, at least I know why it crashes. The app allows editing some fields like Brewer, that are also offered as an enumeration (where you pick one). If you edit the fields, the app crashes when you try to load the recipe. Downloaded Brewguide to use with the new Acaia Pearl S, which is stated to be the only working app for it. There are only 2 guides in the app, neither of which are for a Chemex so creating one is the only option. Unfortunately after creating a custom guide, the app hangs and crashes when trying to save. No guide saved, back to square one. Tried again and same thing. Also, when creating steps for the guide, the water gram value automatically resets to zero if you go back in to edit steps. The Acaia Pearl S is a great scale and I’m looking forward to using its full potential.
