British Airways for iPad Reviews
From bugs to a waste of an App
The previous version was incredibly buggy and in all honesty very difficult to navigate. So initially it was a relief to see a new version had been created, sadly after one day I deleted the app because it was absolutely useless.
Only for booking?
The previous app had my flights, my account, my family account, the ability to do check-inns, etc.
In the current one I can only book travel and see basic account information.
The booking may be easier but I lost most of the important functionality
Worst airline app for the worst airline!
Ridiculously basic - you can just search for and book flights. Can’t manage bookings. Doesn’t have half the functionality of the iPhone version of the app. What a joke!
Awful app
This is a pointless app.. as a Gold Guest List member I have no idea why BA would launch such a limited app.. Take a leaf out of United Airlines who have really thought about functionality and the end user experience.
Absolutely hopeless
Absolutely hopeless app with very limited functionality. Useful to book flights but offers nothing else. Doesn’t appear to allow me to check in, manage my booking etc. No improvement on the old app whatsoever. Very poor customer service from BA. Much worse than the app on my phone.
Yet another I T failure from BA
This app is, frankly, useless. As others have pointed out, all it provides is a booking facility, that’s all nothing else. Complete waste of time downloading it, now deleted! 0/10 again…..
Poor
Very limited functionality and poor user experience
New App
Complete and utter waste of time developing an app that has virtually no functionality for an existing BA user. Why would you even consider this to be operational
I don’t get it ?
So I opened the old app on my iPad to pay the balance on my upcoming holiday and I was prompted to download the iPad app because it is custom made for the iPad.
But as others comment the app only manages new bookings - absolutely nothing else. So I have to open the old app.
I agree the old format it not good on a phone or iPad but it is hard to appreciate the benefit.
As a development manager myself if my team had come up with this I would of canned it day 1…
You obviously have deeper rooted issues preventing you develop a seamless app.
BA lost the plot
New app is much worst than previous so who managed and tested before launch. BA have lost their way, with poorly motivated staff who now don’t seem to care. Have booked a flight with BA in July to give BA one more chance. I’m a regular traveler.
