Doesn’t work with iPhone 15, or anything with a type c charging connection. Have tested multiple cables but it is nearly impossible to find a iPhone 15 type c charger with usb on other end. As soon as I test with iPhone 14 or below it works fine.
Not a great app to be honest. Only connected once in 4 rides. Followed all instructions but it still won’t connect. Good concept but doesn't work.
This app constantly freezes or just fail completely. Don’t waste your time.
Anyone know how to add the Spotify app to the BRP Connect app so it displays on the BRP dash? I will delete this review soon & leave a proper one once developer replies. I sent an email some time ago but haven’t got a reply yet. I don’t use Apple Music, I only use Spotify & I’d like to see my song lists etc. displayed on my dash screen.
So far? Useless. Can’t connect phone, app and Spyder dash controls. Doesn’t recognise my Sena SLR Helmet. Even the bike dealer can’t get it to work.
The Navigation on the app is rubbish, purchased the Navi in app doesn’t work….hopeless….no refund on the app horrible….dealers are not told what’s happening
Useless for Marine Navigation as it doesn’t recognise land ! No way of planning a course in advance. Will be wanting a refund.
Love the app, my only issue is: if I don’t unplug the phone before I turn the vessel on, the connection won’t happen until I restart my iPhone. Very frustrating.
This app has limited compatible apps, particularly in Australia for SEADOO. I wouldn’t waste your time. It doesn’t even have basic music functionality. It’s terrible. I can’t believe they can market their skis with this as a feature when it doesn’t even work. I mean you could even look at it as a bit of scam. You are promised a highly functional app and the display you pay for, but it’s basically useless.
Unfortunately, BRP GO removes the ability to fully control your phone’s music library via the Music option, which was available under its predecessor, BRP Connect…….and BRP Connect has been removed from the App Store so you can not revert while waiting for the Music option to be installed in GO (if it is going to be). BRP GO/Connect is now effectively useless to me. Very poor customer focus.
